DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 15th August 2021 -08:00,16th August 2021
At 17:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the city of Jerusalem detained the citizen: Suhaib Jamil - a resident of Rantis village in Ramallah governorate.
On 08/14/ 2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in the Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem forced the citizen: Muhammad Osama Dweik, to personally demolish his house, after notifying him earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event that the Israeli occupation authorities carried out the demolition, on the pretext of not having a license.
At 08:30, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 09:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Beitin, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
At 16:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the village of Al-Assa (on the main road between Jenin - Nablus), to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. During the afternoon of 08/15/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Zababdeh and clashed with several citizens while they were on patrol.
2. At 04:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jenin and its camp and clashed with several citizens while they stormed a number of houses, and as a result killed 4 citizens (the bodies of two martyrs were detained), and injured 4 other civilians then detained a citizen in the camp.
The detainee in Jenin camp is: Muhammad Abu Zina.
1. On the afternoon of 08/15/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, under the pretext that they had been pelted with stones while on patrol during their raid into the town of Al-Zababda.
2. At 04:00, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated meta bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, under the pretext of coming under gunfire from unknown assailants and stones were thrown as they stormed a number of houses and as a result killed 4 civilians.(The bodies of two martyrs were detained), and 4 other civilians were injured during their raid into Jenin city and its camp.
The 4 civilians: Raed Ziyad Abd al-Latif Abu Seif, 21 years old, a resident of Jenin, Noureddine Abdel Ilah Jarrar, 19, a resident of Jenin, Saleh Ahmad Muhammad Ammar, 19, a resident of Jenin refugee camp, and Amjad. Iyad Azmi Husseinieh, 20, resident of Jenin refugee camp were killed during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the city of Jenin and its camp.
The 4 civilians: Qassam Muhammad Bassem Taha, Ahmad Taysir al-Qatna, Yousef Samir Jalamneh, and Qassam Muhammad Jabarin were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin camp.
At 02:25, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Tamoun, and clashed with several citizens while they stormed a number of houses, as a result of which 3 civilians were wounded and also detained a citizen then withdrew at 04:00.
The detainee in the town of Tamoun is: Ali Muhammad Hamad Bani Odeh.
At 02:25, the Israeli occupation forces fired live ammunition, rubber-coated meta bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, for alleged stoning as they stormed a number of houses, during their raid into Tamoun town and as a result injured 3 civilians.
The 3 civilians: Ihab Tawfiq Bani Odeh, Mazen Zuhair Basharat, and Rabi` Bani Odeh were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tamoun.
At 09:10, the Israeli occupation forces confiscated solar cells to generate electricity after dismantling them, owned by the citizens: Naim Hafez Masa’id and Saeed Zayed Ayyad Abu Zaher in the village of Khirbet Yarza.
At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the junction of Beit Lid town, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 13:20.
At 19:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance to the village of Al-Nabi Elias, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 20:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Shafi Shomron" settlement, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 23:35, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the "Yitzhar" settlement, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
1. At 05:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Kafr Qelil and detained a citizen.
2. At dawn on 08/16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Qusra, and detained 2 citizens (a citizen and his son).
1. The detainee in the village of Kafr Qaleel is: Fadi Youssef Al-Quni.
2. The two detainees in the town of Qusra are: (Noaman Qassem Kanaan, and his son Adham).
On the evening of 08/15/2021, a group of settlers positioned near the junction of Sebastia village threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing on the main street of Nablus - Jenin, injuring a citizen - as a result of being hit in the head by a stone, and causing material damage to a number of vehicles.
The civilian: Muhammad Suleiman Eran was injured after he was attacked by settlers near the junction of Sebastia village.
At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to Deir Istiya, and detained a citizen.
The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Deir Istiya is: Ibrahim Yaqoub Sahban - a resident of the town of Deir Istiya.
1. At 09:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of Nahalin, to search vehicles and check citizens' identities until 11:05.
2. At 14:55, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 16:05.
3. At 15:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens until 15:45.
1. At dawn on 08/15/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Beit Fajjar, and detained a citizen.
2. At 01:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Abu Njeim, detained 2 citizens ( including National Security Forces officer), and withdrew at 04:25.
3. At dawn on 08/16/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided Aida camp in Bethlehem, and detained a citizen.
1. The detainee in the town of Beit Fajjar is: Jibril Hamid Taqatqa.
2. The two detainees in the village of Abu Njeim are: Al-Askari - Awad Mahmoud Al-Herimi, and Ihin Issa Hijazi.
3. The detainee in Aida camp in Bethlehem is: Raafat Riad Malch.
1. At 08:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Al-Samou', to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
2. At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Fawwar camp, to search vehicles and check the identities of the citizens.
At 03:05,the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Hebron and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the city of Hebron is: Yaqoub Daoud Al-Masri.
On the morning of 08/15/ 2021, a group of settlers established a new outpost on the lands of the village of Zanouta, where they installed 20 mobile homes (caravans) on an area of land estimated at 20 dunums owned by citizens of the families: Samamra, Abu Sharkh, and Jabarin. Another group of settlers, expanding a settlement outpost, that they established two months ago near the place on an area of land owned by citizens of my family: Abu Sharekh and Jabarin.
On 08/15/ 2021, a group of settlers in the Taybeh area of Tarqumiya town, located near the “Adora” settlement, continued erecting a number of tents on a piece of land with an area of about 60 dunums owned by citizens of the Natsheh family, in an attempt to seize them, on the pretext that it state lands.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the ceasefire agreement by firing from their positions on the Green Line towards the governorates of North Gaza and Khan Yunis.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez": on 08/15/ 2021 is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing "Allenby" - previously coordinated for them).
At 16:30 on 08/15/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Jabalia town.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
1. At 08:30 on 08/15/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Khuza’a town, east of Khan Yunis.
2. At 16:00 on 08/15/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence east of Khan Yunis.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom-Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 08/15/2021,is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and fodder, raw materials for the agricultural and food industries, sterilization and cleaning materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 08/15/2021 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
