DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 7th August 2021 -08:00,8th August 2021
At 18:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the Movodotan checkpoint on the main road Jenin - Tulkarm detained the citizen: Anas Talib Saeed Al-Ashqar - residents of Saida village in Tulkarm governorate.
At 23:45, a group of settlers was near the Tayseer checkpoint, and threw stones at the vehicles of citizens passing through the checkpoint, smashing the windows of two vehicles owned by citizens: Ammar Mahmoud Mabsalt and Najib Shahid Sawafta (both of them live in Tubas).
At 19:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Azzoun town, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
On 08/06/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens (brothers, one of whom is a child) - residents of Qalqilya city: Hazem Mamoun Omar Qatesh, and his brother Muhammad 16 years old.
At 18:20, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the (closed) eastern entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddoum, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards protesting citizens against the closure of the entrance to the village, under the pretext that it had been subjected to stones, which resulted in a number of citizens suffocating as a result of inhaling the gas.
On the evening of 07.08.2021, in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita, the occupation forces fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas at citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for settlement projects, wounding 10 citizens (including Injury with live bullets, 9 with rubber-coated metal bullets, and 27 civilians were injured - as a result of tear gas inhalation.
The 10 unidentified civilians were wounded (including one wounded by live bullets, and 9 by rubber-coated metal bullets) during confrontations with the occupation forces in the Jabal Sabih area in the town of Beita.
1. At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the village of Marda, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
2. At 21:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr ad-Dik, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 13:30, the Israeli occupation forces raided the village of Marda (on the pretext of throwing stones by unknown persons at the settlers' vehicles passing on the main road adjacent to the village), and they patrolled.
At 20:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search vehicles and check the identities of citizens.
At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned near the cemetery of Aqabat Jabr camp in Jericho, fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, under the pretext that they had been stoned.
1. At 11:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 13:00.
2. At 12:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the western entrance to the town of Tekoa, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 13:50.
At 02:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Beit Jala, stormed and searched a house, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 03:10.
The detainee in the city of Beit Jala is: Ibrahim Roumi.
At 04:00, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Yatta, and detained a citizen.
The detainee in the town of Yatta is: Muhammad Khaled Al-Shawahin.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
