DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 2nd August 2021 -08:00, 3rd August 2021
At dawn on 08/02/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Abu Dis, and detained a citizen.
1. At 08:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained 2 citizens: Youssef Al-Jolani and Ismail Al-Jolani - residents of Shuafat camp in Jerusalem.
2. At 08:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the Ras al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem detained the citizen: Adnan Muhammad al-Yasini, .
3. At 12:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem detained 2 citizens: Islam Ghatit and Ghaith Ghosheh.
4. At 13:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Al-Eizariya town detained 2 citizens: Abdullah Khaled Abdel Fattah Al-Lulu - residents of Bir Zeit town in Ramallah governorate, and Shehadeh Iyad Muhammad Abu Qara - residents of Al Mazraa Al Gharbia town in Ramallah governorate.
5.At dawn on 08/03/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood in Jerusalem detained the citizen: Tala Al-Ghoul.
6. At 20:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Suhaib Siam, in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem.
7. The detainee in the town of Abu Dis is: Muhammad Ali Mohsen.
On 08/02/ 2021, the Israeli occupation authorities in the city of Jerusalem issued a decision to renew the ban on the governor of Jerusalem - Adnan Ghaith, from being inside the city of East Jerusalem and from entering the rest of the West Bank governorates and from participating in any meetings or events or providing any assistance to the people of the city of Jerusalem and in his neighborhood in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem and also included preventing him from contacting or communicating with 51 Palestinian personalities.
At 08:30, groups of extremist settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and made provocative tours of its courtyards and facilities.
At 19:35, the Israeli occupation forces tightened their procedures at the "Al-Mahkamah" checkpoint, which is located near the settlement of "Beit El", north of the city of Al-Bireh, and obstructed traffic.
At 10:30, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Ain Siniya, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 04:20, the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Ramallah, detained a citizen, and withdrew at 06:30.
The detainee in the city of Ramallah is: Bahaa Salim Abu Kweik.
1. On the evening of 08/02/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya, where confrontations took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
2. At 21:30,the Israeli occupation forces raided the town of Al-Yamoun, and confrontations took place with the citizens as they stormed a house and as a result injured 2 civilians, detained 2 civilians (a citizen and his son), and withdrew at 01:00.
3. At 02:50,the Israeli occupation forces raided the city of Jenin, and confrontations took place with the citizens as they stormed a number of houses and as a result injured 6 civilians (including 1 seriously injured), and they withdrew at 07:55.
1. At 17:45, the Israeli occupation forces positioned at the "Mofu Dotan" checkpoint detained the citizen: Muhammad Shaher Obaid -a resident of Anza village.
2. The two detainees in the town of Al-Yamoun are: Jamil Maher Khamaiseh, and his son Moataz.
1. On the evening of 08/02/2021, the Israeli occupation forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens, under the pretext that they had been pelted with stones while on patrol during their raid into the town of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya..
2. At 21:30, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards, on the pretext that they had been pelted with stones as they stormed a house and as a result injuring 2 civilians during their raid into Al-Yamoun town.
3. At 02:50, the Israeli occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards, on the pretext that they had been pelted with stones as they stormed a number of houses and as a result injured 6 civilians (including 1 seriously injured s) during their raid into of Jenin city.
1. The two civilians were wounded during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Yamoun (of those identified ): Youssef Mahmoud Freihat (he was hit in the head by a gas bomb).
2. The 6 wounded during confrontations with the occupation forces in the city of Jenin (of those identified): Diaa Muhammad Samada'a ( seriously injured), Diaa Yousef Kamil, Ratib Bali, and Adel Abu Na'sa.
At 20:30, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the areas of Jabal Sabih and Al Hoota in the town of Beita and near the junction of the town of Beita, fired live ammunition, rubber-coated metal bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards citizens participating in a demonstration against settlers’ attacks and land confiscation for the benefit of settlement projects and as a result injured 2 civilians and left a number of citizens suffocated as a result of inhaling tear gas.
The 2 civilians: Qutaiba Ahmed Tawfiq Hamayel, and Saleh Hamid Maali Dwaikat were injured during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the Jabal Sobeih area in the town of Beita.
On 02.08. 2021, a group of settlers from the “Barakhah” settlement entered the agricultural lands of the citizens in the al-Soma’a area of the village of Iraq Burin, and chased after the citizen: Mo’men Husam Ahed al-Faqih and as a result left him hospitalized with fractures and bruises, as a result of falling from a rock while chasing him as they stole the mule that belonged to him.
1. At 14:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Kafr ad-Dik, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 16:20.
2. At 14:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 16:55.
3. At 20:50, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to Marda village, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 22:30.
At 22:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the city of Jericho, to search cars and check the identities of citizens.
1. At 11:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Wadi Fukin, to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 11:50.
2. At 12:15, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the junction of the Nashash area (the southern entrance to the city of Bethlehem), to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 13:15.
3. At 00:25, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasna area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and check the identities of citizens until 02:30.
On 08/02/ 2021, Israeli settlers from the outpost “Ibi Hanahel” built on the lands of Kisan village on land owned by the Abayat family and began constructing a settlement road adjacent to the outpost.
At 19:40, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the bridge of Halhoul town, to search cars and check the identities of the citizens.
At 16:10, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the old city of Hebron detained 2 citizens: Fadi Al-Karki and Moataz Obaido Al-Tamimi.
• At 02:00 on 05/21/ 2021, the comprehensive ceasefire entered into force at the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• On the morning of 07/30/ 2021, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the marine fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 12 nautical miles.
• The Israeli occupation forces violated the cease-fire agreement by storming our areas in Central Gaza and Khan Yunis governorates, and by firing gunboats at fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the North Gaza and Central Gaza governorates.
* Beit Hanoun crossing - "Erez": on 08/02/ 2021 is partially open (for the passage of humanitarian cases, foreign journalists, workers of international humanitarian organizations, merchants, businessmen and travelers through the Al-Karama Crossing "Allenby" - previously coordinated for them).
At 22:45 on 08/02/2021, the Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while chasing them in the open sea off the coast of Al-Sudaniya area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010, by unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:45 on 08/0/.2021, several vehicles and bulldozers of the Israeli occupation army, covered by reconnaissance planes, stormed our areas at a depth of 100 meters east of Al-Maghazi camp, and carried out excavation and bulldozing, and withdrew at 15:00.
At 22:00 on 08/0/2021, the Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen’s boats while chasing them in the open sea off the shores of Deir al-Balah.
At 09:00 on 08/02/ 2021, several vehicles and bulldozers of the Israeli occupation army, covered by reconnaissance planes, stormed our areas at a depth of 500 meters east of the town of Qarara, northeast of Khan Yunis, and carried out excavation and bulldozing work, and withdrew at 15:00.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom-Kerem Shalom Crossing: On 08/02/2021,is partially open (for the entry of foodstuffs and fodder, raw materials for the agricultural and food industries, sterilization and cleaning materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah crossing: on 08/02/2021 is open in both directions (for citizens to leave and enter).
