WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

• On 05/16/2021, mass rallies began in all the governorates of the West Bank, rejecting and denouncing the ongoing Israeli attacks and crimes in the city of Jerusalem and the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the aggression on the Gaza Strip, and against the displacement of families of citizens from their homes and handing them over to settlers in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem, as Confrontations took place with the occupation forces, which resulted in the death of 3 citizens (including one citizen under the pretext of running over soldiers, and 2 civilians succumbing to their severe wounds), 36 civilians were injured, and dozens of civilians suffocated due to tear gas inhalation.

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At dawn on 16/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces detained 11 citizens: Ziyad As-Salaymeh, Jihad Qus, Muhammad Ayman al-Salaymeh, Muhammad Qasim al-Salaymeh, Majdi al-Atrash, Rami Marar, Musab Abu Farha, Abd Dana, Bahaa Abu al-Hamam Muhammad Funda, and Ali Salah All are residents of Nablus district.
2. At 10:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained 5 citizens: Maher Dana, Ziad Dana, Zaki Dana, and Yasser Dana. in the Silwan neighborhood of Jerusalem.
3. At 14:30, the Israeli occupation forces detained the child: Talal Shaludi - residents of the Old City of Jerusalem.
4. At 24:00, the Israeli occupation forces detained the citizen: Nasser Mahmoud Abu Khadija in the town of Kafr Aqab.

Attack

1. Injuries

1. On 16/05/2021, Seven unidentified civilians were injured during clashes with the Israeli occupation forces in the towns, villages and neighborhoods of Jerusalem.
2. On the evening of 16/05/2021, the Israeli occupation forces severely beat the citizen: Ramzi Dmitri -a resident of Al-Thawri neighborhood in Jerusalem, in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, seriously wounding him.

JENIN

Detention

Detention

At 18:00, the Israeli occupation forces positioned in the suburb of Shweika detained the citizen: Samir Muhammad Na'alouh.
