DAILY SITUATION REPORT

WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 18:20, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village and arrested a citizen.

Detention

Detained in the village of Issawiya is: Ibrahim Nimer al-Nuri.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Jalazon camp, and conducted a patrol.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 07:30, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the Ya'bad junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

QALQILIYA

Attack

At 17:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, near the eastern (closed) entrance in the village of Kafr Qaddum, towards the protesters in protest against the closure of the village entrance, wounding 3 citizens, and wounding a number of citizens - suffocating Due to tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

The 3 wounded during clashes with the occupation forces near the eastern (closed) entrance to the village of Kafr Qaddum (known from them): Muhammad Nidal Ahmad Aql Jumaa.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in Al-Murabba 'area near the entrance to the village of Tal, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.

Raid

1. At 10:45, Israeli forces raided Yatma village, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided the village of Iraq Burin, and clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
3. At 19:00, Israeli forces raided Urif village, and clashes took place with citizens while on patrol.

Attack

1. At 19:00, the occupying forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones while on patrol during their raid into Burin village.
2. At 19:00, the occupying forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been throwing stones while on patrol during their raid into the village of Urif.

Settlers Attacks

At 11:50, a group of settlers from "Shilo" settlement entered the citizens' agricultural lands in Khirbet Serra, east of Qaryut village, and cut down the branches of 30 olive trees owned by the citizen: Bilal Mahmoud Raja.

BETHLEHEM

Military Checkpoints

At 13:00, the occupation forces tightened their procedures at the (Container) checkpoint, and blocked traffic until 13:40.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of Nahalin, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 10:20.
2. At 20:10, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to the town of Tuqu ', to search cars and check citizens' identities until 23:30.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Beit Einoun village junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 17:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp, and detained a citizen.

Detention

The detainee at a flying checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Arroub camp is: Yousef Ashraf Jawabra - resident of Al-Arroub camp.

Temporary Detention

At 11:45, the occupation forces detained the elderly citizen: Suleiman Al-Hathalin, 75, in the Al-Musafir area, east of Yatta, and released him at a later time.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.

• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupying forces violated the ceasefire by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the Central, Khan Yunis, and Rafah governorates, and the warships fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea in the northern Gaza and Khan Yunis governorates.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 10/17/2020, it is closed (due to the Saturday holiday).

Attack

1. At 09:30 on 10/17/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
2. At 23:00 on 10/17/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently, and by unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed since 04. 01. 2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 00:45 on 10/17/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards agricultural lands east of Maghazi camp.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 09:45 on 10/17/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the beach in Khan Yunis.
2. At 14:00 on 10/17/2020, the occupation forces fired from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence, east of the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Yunis.

RAFAH

* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: on 10/17/2020, it is closed (due to a Saturday holiday).
