DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 8th October 2020 -08:00, 9th October 2020
1. At 12:15, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Anata, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 14:45, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Khan al-Ahmar area (on the main road, Jerusalem - Jericho), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 18:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village and conducted a patrol.
2. At dawn on 09. 10. 2020, Israeli forces raided the town of Anata, then stormed and searched a house and a carpentry workshop.
1. At 12:30, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Mahmoud Allan Hamdan - residents of Shuafat Camp in Jerusalem.
2. At 13:00, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Mustafa Muhammad Al-Khatib - residents of Hizma town.
On the morning of 10/08/2020, the occupation forces detained 2 guards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, namely: Arafat Najeeb and Khalil Al-Tarhouni, in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and released them later after they were taken to the Israeli police station in Jerusalem.
1. At 18:00, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas in the Shuafat Camp in Jerusalem, under the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
2. At 22:15, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, near the entrance to the town of Al-Ram, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
3. At 23:30, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas at the citizens, near the entrance to the town of Anata, under the pretext that they had been throwing stones.
4. At 23:30, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and tear gas canisters at Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
On 10/08/2020, the occupation authorities in the Shuafat neighborhood in the city of Jerusalem forced the Burqan family to demolish their home themselves, after notifying them earlier, in order to avoid paying heavy fines in the event the occupation authorities carried out the demolition, under the pretext of not having a permit.
At 13:30, a group of extremist settlers, under the protection of the occupation police, stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and conducted provocative tours in its courtyards and facilities.
At 19:50, Israeli forces raided the village of Deir Nizam, where clashes took place with the citizens while they were on patrol.
At 19:50, the occupying forces fired sound and tear gas canisters at the citizens, during their raid into the village of Deir Nizam, on the pretext that they had been throwing stones.
At 19:50, the occupation forces closed the northern and southern entrances to the village of Deir Nizam, in front of traffic, and reopened them at a later time.
1. At 19:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalameh village, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Zbuba village, and arrested a citizen.
1. On 10/08/2020, the occupation forces detained the citizen: Ahmed Al-Nabhan - resident of Jenin camp, while he was visiting the Israeli intelligence, based on prior notification.
2. Detained in the village of Zbuba is: Usama Hashem Hussein Atatreh.
1. At 08:25, the occupying forces in charge of guarding the separation wall near the village of Jalameh fired sound bombs at a number of citizens while they were trying to enter to work inside the Green Line, wounding a citizen (in the hand - with shrapnel of a sound bomb). Governmental Hospital in Jenin for treatment.
2. At 13:10, the occupying forces at "Movo Dotan" checkpoint fired at a vehicle owned by the citizen: Alaa Jamal Atatreh - residents of Ya'bad town, while it was passing through the checkpoint, causing material damage to the vehicle.
The injured person as a result of the launch of the occupation forces charged with guarding the separation wall near the village of Jalameh: Ahmad Muhammad Sabri Barbour.
On 10/08/2020, the occupation forces confiscated a bulldozer in the village of Ain Al-Bayda in the northern Jordan Valley, while it was working to facilitate an agricultural road.
1. At 12:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Jinsafut village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 17:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to Kafr Laqif village, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 20:20, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint on the road connecting the towns of Jayyous and Azzun, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 23:00, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Habla, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
5. At 23:00, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the eastern entrance to the city of Qalqilya, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
At 16:00, Israeli forces raided the city of Qalqilya, and conducted a patrol.
At 19:30, the occupation forces positioned in the vicinity of the "Eyal" crossing, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the citizens, under the pretext that they had been pelted with stones.
1. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Qaryut village, and conducted a patrol.
2. At 18:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Dajan village, and conducted a patrol.
3. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Sebastia village, and conducted a patrol.
4. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Tal village and detained a citizen.
Detained in the village of Tal is: Abdullah Khaled Silwadi.
At 13:40, a group of settlers in the Al-Ashr area of Beit Furik town attacked a number of citizens and attempted to attack a bulldozer while it was working on the site.
1. At 15:30, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Salfit, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Deir Ballut, to search cars and verify citizens' identities until 00:10.
At 16:35, a group of settlers swept away an area of land belonging to the village of Sirta owned by Hamed Salah, near the settlement of "Barkan - Industrial", with the aim of expanding the colony.
1. At 19:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the Al-Jiftlik village junction, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 20:35, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Jericho, to search cars and check citizens' identities until 00:10.
At 23:40, Israeli forces raided the village of Al-Auja, and conducted a patrol.
1. At 11:45, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint near the Al-Nashash area junction (the southern entrance to Bethlehem), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
2. At 13:20, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint in the Aqabat Hasanah area (on the main road leading to the western villages in the Bethlehem governorate), to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
3. At 18:10, the Israeli occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the northern entrance to Tuqu 'town, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
4. At 18:50, the occupation forces set up a checkpoint at the western entrance to the town of Beit Fajjar, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 02:25, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village, and patrolled until 03:00.
2. At 03:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, and patrolled until 04:00.
3. At 03:35, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, and conducted a patrol until 03:50.
At 11:25, the occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas, near the northern entrance to the town of Tekoa, on the pretext that they had been thrown with stones.
At 24:00, a group of settlers were present along road 60 near the "Daniel" settlement, and threw stones at the citizens' vehicles, wounding a one-year-old child, after smashing the side glass of the vehicle his family was traveling in and owned by the citizen: Ali Ahmed Al Hassan.
The child who was injured - as a result of a settler attack along road 60 near the "Daniel" settlement - is: Mahmoud Iyad Banat (one year old) - residents of Al-Arroub camp in Hebron governorate.
At 08:45, the occupying forces set up a checkpoint at the Halhoul town bridge, to search cars and verify citizens' identities.
1. At 11:20, Israeli forces raided Uola's house and detained 4 civilians.
2. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron and detained 3 citizens (including 2 brothers).
3. At 03:50, Israeli forces raided the town of Dura and the village of Al-Tabqa, and detained 3 civilians.
1. At 19:10, the occupation forces have arrested the citizen: Yaqoub Abu Hadid, in the Old City of Hebron.
2. At 02:25, the occupation forces have arrested 2 citizens in the Old City of Hebron, namely: Nadim Al-Talhami and Muhammad Al-Bazouri.
3. The 4 detainees in the town of Beit Ula are: Hani Ahmed Muhammad Farajin, Mahmoud Ahmad Muhammad Farajin, Ahmed Adel Ahmed Farajin, and Hussein Adel Ahmed Farajin.
4. The 3 detainees in Hebron are: Bassam Al-Zughayer, Muhammad Mazen Baradei, and his brother Ali.
5. The 3 detainees in the town of Dura and the village of Tabqa are: Amjad Musa al-Nammura, Raafat Taleb Abu Sebaa, and Ghadanfar Abu Atwan.
At 10:45 am, the occupation forces positioned in front of Al-Aroub camp, fired rubber-coated metal bullets, stun grenades and tear gas canisters at the entrance to the camp, under the pretext that they had been throwing stones.
On 10/08/2020, a group of settlers from "Mitzpe Yair" settlement entered the citizens' agricultural lands in the Qawawis area east of Yatta town, and cut down and uprooted a number of two-year-old olive trees owned by the citizen: Jaber Awad Al-Zein.
• At 19:00 on 26/08/2014, the permanent and comprehensive ceasefire came into effect with the initiative and patronage of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, the introduction of humanitarian and relief aid and reconstruction requirements, and expanding the fishing area to a distance of 6 miles with the increase in distance Up to 12 miles by the end of this year, reducing the "security buffer" zone from 300 meters to 100 meters, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. Other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within a month of the ceasefire.
• On the morning of June 28, 2019, the occupation forces allowed the expansion of the fishing distance from opposite the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
• On 01/09/2020, the occupation forces re-expanded the fishing distance from the front of the Al-Waha area northwest of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza governorate and up to the Gaza port by a distance of 6 nautical miles, and from opposite the Gaza port to the south of the coast of Rafah to 15 nautical miles. After it imposed on 08/16/2020 a complete closure on the maritime domain in front of the fishermen's boats in front of the Gaza Strip.
• The occupying forces violated the ceasefire, by firing from their positions on the Green Line in the Rafah governorate, and by firing boats at the fishermen's boats at sea in the northern Gaza governorate.
* Beit Hanoun Crossing - "Erez": on 10.08. 2020 is closed (except for the passage of emergency humanitarian cases).
At 08:30 on 10/08/2020, Israeli gunboats fired at the fishermen's boats while chasing them at sea off the coast of Al-Sudania area, west of the town of Beit Lahia.
* Al-Muntar-Karni crossing: closed since 02/03/2011, permanently and by a unilateral Israeli decision.
* The Shejaiya Crossing - “Nahal Oz” for fuel: closed on 01/04/2010 by an Israeli unilateral decision.
* Yasser Arafat International Airport: closed.
* Sofa Crossing: closed.
* Kerem Shalom Crossing - “Kerem Shalom”: 10.08.2020 is partially open (for the entry of food, goods and building materials, and limited quantities of fuel).
* Al-Awda- Rafah: on 10.08. 2020 is closed.
At 18:30 on 10/08/2020, the occupying forces fired fire and tear gas canisters from their positions on the Green Line, towards a number of citizens near the border fence in the northeast of Rafah.
