WEST BANK

ALL DISTRICTS

On January 29th 2020, demonstrations took place for the second consecutive day in all districts in the West Bank and Gaza strip rejecting The United States of America's presidents announcement of the "Deal of the Century" which aims to settle the Palestinian issue, and the participants in the marches and events confirmed their support of President Mahmoud Abbas and Palestinian leaderships demand for the implementation of the International resolutions to safeguarding the rights of the Palestinian people on their land and establishing an independent and fully sovereign Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital within the borders of June 4, 1967.

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and clashed with several residents.

Detention

1. At 18:10, Israeli forces positioned at Bab Al-Amoud area in the old city of Jerusalem detained Arin Al-Za'anin.
2. At 18:20, Israeli forces detained 2 residents {including a child}:Khalil Hisham Karawi, and Yousef Jamjoum, 17 years old in Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem.
3. At 18:30, Israeli forces detianed Na'im Al-Razam Bab Al-Sahirah area (one of the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) in the Old City of Jerusalem.

Deportation

1. On January 29th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning 2 residents: Nour Al-Din Al-Rajabi and Yaqoub Mahmoud Abu Asab from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 6 months.
2. On January 29th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning Assad Ajjaj {a resident of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 15 days.
3. On January 29th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued orders banning Hamza Nimr {a Security guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem for a period of 1 week as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.

Attack

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Quds University campus in Abu Dis town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
2. At 08:20, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Eizariya town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
3. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
4. At 17:00, Israeli forces positioned at Shu'fat military checkpoint fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

6. At 22:30,Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eisawiya village.
7. At 22:30,Israeli forces positioned near Anata town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
8. At 23:30, Israeli forces positioned in Beit Hanina town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
9. On the evening of January 29th 2020, Israeli forces positioned in the old city of Jersualem fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators {protesting agianst the closures of Bab Al-Amoud and Bab Al-Sahirah area ( the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque) and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators {protesting agianst the closures of Bab Al-Amoud and Bab Al-Sahirah area ( the gates leading to Al-Aqsa Mosque).

Assaults on Property

On the evening of January 29 2020, Israeli forces in the old city of Jerusalem issued orders closing a sweets shop for a period of 15 days for serving sweets to several worshipers during dawn prayers in Al-Aqsa mosque compound on January 24th 2020.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:30,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

At 22:20, Israeli forces raided Ein Yabroud village , detained a child then withdrew at 23:05.

Attack

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces positioned near Beit Sira village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
2. At 13:10, Israeli forces positioned at "Pesagout" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured 3 children and detained child.
3. At 14:35,Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Sinjil townred rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and detained child.
4. At 15:10,Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Al-Nabi Saleh village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
5. At 16:25,Israeli forces positioned near the north entrance of Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
At 18:00,Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Silwad town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.
7. At 21:20,Israeli forces positioned near Dura Al-Qara' village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning.

Settlers Attacks

On January 29th 2020, a Israeli settler positioned near Beit Sira military checkpoint opened fire towards a resident and as a result left him hospitalised after being struck in the shoulder.

Injuries

1. Israeli forces injured 3 children: Mohammad Muneeb Abdul Rahman Maridi {16 years old}, Haitham Wajih Mohammad Musabeh {15 years old}, and Mohammad Naeem Hadeda {16 years old} during clashes near "Pesagout" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city.
2. Saed Hussien Falnat {a resident of Safa village} was hospitalised after he was shot in the shoulder by a Israeli settler near Beit Sira military checkpoint.

Detention

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Bassam {a taxi driver}.
2. Israeli forces detained Hatem Awad Ayash {13 years old} in Ein Yabroud village.
3. Israeli forces detained the child: Wissam Al-Qadi {14 years old} during clashes near "Pesagout" settlement located in east Al-Bireh city.
4. Israeli forces detained the child: Yahya Jihad Ja'arat {15 years old} during clashes near the entrance of Sinjil town.

JENIN

Raid

At 21:05, Israeli forces raided Jenin city until 22:00.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00 and agian at 18:50,Israelforces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Malah area junction located in the Jordan valley then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 14:20, Israeli forces positioned at Tayassir military checkpoint detained Yasser Al-Bahis {a resident of Nablus city}.

Attack

On January 29th 2020, Israeli forces positioned in Um Al-Quba area located in the North Jordan valley fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participtaing in the (protection of the Jordan Valley) event - in solidarity with the Jordan Valley and against the "deal of the century" and as a result injured a injured a resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Eyad Abu Ara {a resident of Aqaba town} was hospitalised with an Injurey (cut in the tendon of the hand) after Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents participtaing in the (protection of the Jordan Valley) event - in solidarity with the Jordan Valley and against the "deal of the century" in Um Al-Quba area located in the North Jordan valley.

TULKAREM

Attack

1. At 13:00, Israeli forces positioned at wall gate {104} in Tulkarem city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents and left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. On the morning of January 30th 2020,Israeli forces positioned near the wall gate located in west Quffin town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 2 residents: Fadi Hassan Al-Jallad and Mohammad Jamal Ali Saleh during clashes near the wall gate {104} in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Attack

1. At 14:20, sraeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning.
2. At 17:15,Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Jayyous town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
3. At 18:30,Israeli forces positioned near the North entrance of Azzun town opened fire towards residents after a Israeli settler vehicle was hit by a moltov fire bomb while travelling along the main road connecting Qalqiliya and Nablus}.

NABLUS

Raid

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village until 14:45.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces raided Qabalan town and Yitma village until 23:05.
3. At 21:45, Israeli forces raided Ijnisiniya village.

Attack

1. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Beita town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left 7 residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces positioned near Qaryout village fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Assaults on Property

On January 29th 2020, Israeli forces positioned in "Shavi Shamron" settlement kicked several residents of Sabistiya village off agricultural land located near the settlement as they were herding their live stock.

SALFIT

At 21:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.

JERICHO

Military Checkpoints

On the morning of January 29th 2020,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Al-Hamra Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Ma'ale Efrayim" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Jiftlik village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 16:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Oja village junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Physical Assault

At 20:40, Israeli forces positioned at "Ma'ale Efrayim" settlement junction assulted Mustafa Al-Najjar {a specail needs pateint} and forced him to remove his cloths.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beut Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 13:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 18:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 20:40,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the West entrance of Tuqu' town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces raided Wadi Fuqin village, stormed a school yard then withdrew at 13:00.
2. At 14:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Jalla city until 15:35.
3. At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Arab Al-RAshayda village and detained 4 residents.

Attack

On the evening of January 29th 2020, Israeli forces positioned near the north entrance of Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained 2 children.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 4 residents:Mahmoud Rashaideh, and his sons Abbas, Bashar and Saad in Al-Rashayda village located in east Bethlehem district.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Saqer Ashraf Raqaban and Daud Amr Abu Amr {17 years old} during clashes near the north entranc of Bethlehem city.

Assault on Educational sector

At 12:10, Israeli forces stormed a school yard during their raid into Wadi Fuqin village then withdrew at 13:00.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 08:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sakat village junction located in south Beit Awwa town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 10:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Attack

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents and school children protesting near the camp entrance and as a result critically injured a resident and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained 3 residents.
2. At 08:30, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Fuwar camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several school children who were demonstrating near the camp entrance for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation then detained 3 residents.
3. On the evening on January 29th 2020, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Beit Ummar town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left Ahmad Mahmoud Al-Alami and 7 of his family members {including a child} suffocated from tear gas inhalation after a tear gas canisters exploded inside their home.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ayman Abdel-Rahman Yacoub {criticaly injured} during clashes at the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents:Ahmad Aref Al-Raei, Ahmed Amir Abu Al-Khiran, and Fouad Al-Sabatin during clashes near the entrance of Al-Arrub camp.

Settlers Attacks

On January 29th 2020, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the old city of Hebron and installed a steel fence [approxomatly 2 m high} on the second floor of Al-Ibrahimi mosque compound and also changed the canopy in the courtyard area of the mosque.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of ​​the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire and launched tank artillery shells from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts.
•Israeli Military aircraft's broke the ceasefire agreement by launching 5 missiles {during 3 consecutive airstrikes} towards Khan Yunis districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

1. At 14:15 on January 29th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behined the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in North Beit Hanun town.
2. At 23:50 on January 29th 2020,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 23:30 on January 29th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line luanched tank artillary shells towadrs an open area in east Deir Al-Balah city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after launching tank artillery shells towards an opened area in east Deir Al-Balah city.

Palestinian Attacks

At 23:30 on January 29th 2020, Palestinian gunmen luached projectiles towards the Green Line.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

1. At 07:30 on January 29th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 13:45 on January 29th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 23:55 on January 29th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen sites in east Khan Yunis city.

Air Strike

1. At 23:30 on January 29th 2020,Israeli military aircraft's launched 1 missile towards Palestinian gunmen sites located in north west Khan Yunis city.
2. At 23:35 on January 29th 2020,Israeli military aircraft's launched 2 missiles towards Palestinian gunmen sites located in north west Khan Yunis city.
