DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 24th January 2020 – 08:00, 25th January 2020
1. At 00:40, Israeli forces closed Shu'fat military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic {due to the departure of a large number of residents who were searching for a missing child in Beit Hanina town} then reopened it at a later time.
2. At 01:30, Israeli forces closed Qalandiya military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic then reopened it at a later time.
At 16:00, Israeli forces positioned at Hutta gate {a main gate entrance leading to Al-Aqsa mosque compound} in the old city of Jerusalem detained Murad Masmak {a resident of Jerusalem city}.
1. At 13:20, Israeli authorities issued orders banning Nurildin Al-Rajabi {a resident of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque for a period of 1 week.
2. At 15:00, Israeli authorities issued orders banning Ahmad Abu Ghazala {a resident of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 4 months.
3. At 19:00,Israeli authorities issued orders banning 2 journalists:Amjad Taher Salah Arafa and Abdul Karim Omar Abdullah Darwish from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 10 days and fined them each 10000 NIS as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.
4. At 02:00 on January 25th 2020,Israeli authorities issued orders banning: Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Authority in Jerusalem - Preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque: Sheikh Akrama Sabri {a resident of Jerusalem}, from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 4 months after storming and searching his home then summoned him to report to Israeli police forces in Jerusalem city on January 26th 2020.
1. At 00:40, Israeli forces positioned in Beit Hanina town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who were protesting against the Israeli Police for not making a serious intervention to reveal the fate of the child: 8-year-old Qais AbdelHamid Abu Armila , whose remains disappeared on the afternoon of 24. 01. 2020 (before he was found dead inside a drainage canal, in the town of Beit Hanina) and as a result injured 23 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
2. At 01:30, Israeli forces positioned at Qalandiya Military checkpoint fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

At 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Ras Kar Kar village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 19:30.
1.At dawn on January 24th 2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a child.
2.At dawn on January 24th 2020, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city and detained a resident.
3. At 15:30 and again at 00:30, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village , clashed with several residents and as a result injured a resident.
4. At 16:35, Israeli forces raided Silwad town and clashed with several residents.
1. Israeli forces detained Amjad Ziyad Salama Nakhlat {16 years old} in Al-Jalazoun camp.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Yusef Warasnat {a resident of Al-Shiyoukh town in Hebron city}.
1. At 15:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Deir Intham village and as a result injured a resident leaving him hospitalised.
2. At 16:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Silwad town.
Israeli forces injured Billal Jameel Al-Tamimi {after he was struck by live ammunition in the andomen} durimg clashes in Deir Intham village.
At 22:50, a group of Israeli settlers positioned near Al-Tayba town junction {located along Al-Muarajat road which connects Ramallah and Jericho districts} and stoned a vehicle owned by Yusef Khalid Omar Salawad {a resident of Duma village in Nablus district}.
At dawn on January 24th 2020, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and detained a resident.
Israeli forces detained Fida Ra'ouf Ibrahim Al-Zaghibi in Jenin city.
At 12:50,Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning and as a result injured 2 residents {including a Israeli Peace Activist} and left left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
Israeli forces injured Ameen Rafiq Ishtawi and Abdel-Raheem Qaddumi during clashes in Kafr Qaddum village.
At 17:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sabastiya village then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 15:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
2. At 19:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafil Harris town then searched residents and vehicles.
At 16:30, Isaeli forces closed the steel entrance gate located in Beit Ummar town and impeded the free flow of traffic until reopening it at a later time.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire
* A resiednt died of injuries sustianed during clashes with Israeli forces in east Jabaliya town and North Gaza distrcit on January 14th 2018.
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
On January 19th 2020, Ammar Manar Mohammad Al-Hajjar {34 years old}{a resident of Al-Saftawi area located in Jabaliya town} died of injuries sustianed during clashes with Israeli forces in east Jabaliya town and North Gaza distrcit on January 14th 2018.
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed.
