DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 19th January 2020 – 08:00, 20th January 2020
1. At dawn on January 20th 2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on January 20th 2020, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town and detained a resident.
1. At 07:00 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Sa'id Al-Dadou in the old city of Jerusalem city.
2. At 08:00, Israeli forces detained Mahdi Anu Maliyat in Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ibrahim Al-Arroum Al-Eizariya town.
4. Israeli forces detained Karam Al-Qaddumi in Al-Ram town.
On January 19th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued a home detention order for Omar Muh'sien {a resident of Shu'fat camp in Jerusalem city} as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier time.
1. On January 19th 2020, Israeli authorities issued a order banning Al-Aqsa Mosque Preacher Akrama Sabri {Chairman of the Supreme Islamic Authority in Jerusalem} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound for a period of 1 week.
2. On January 19th 2020, Israeli authorities issued orders banning 2 residents: Ahmad Ghazalat and Moath Idris {both residents of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque for a period of 5 months as a condition for their release after being detained at an earlier time.
At 09:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers
1.On the morning of January 19th 2020, Israeli forces raided Deir Intham village, stormed a local school and searched classes during school hours then threatened to detain students after alleged stoning towards Israeli settler vehicles.
2. At 05:05, Israeli forces raided Abu Shikhiudum village and detained 3 residents.
3. At 06:05, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a resident.
1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Amir Mohammed Mahmoud Abu Zahir, Laith Mohammed Sharif Qandah, and Mohammed Suhail Harb Abu Shakhdim in Abu Shikhiudum village.
2. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Hamdan Abu Sabri in Al-Jalazoun camp.
On the morning of January 19th 2020, Israeli forces stormed a local school and searched classes during school hours then threatened to detain students after alleged stoning towards Israeli settler vehicles during their raid into Deir Intham village.
At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:30.
Israeli forces detained Rafat Mahmoud Abdel-Hameed Al-Khatib in Jayyous town.
At 09:50 on January 19th 2020 and again at 06:00 on January 20th 2020,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 07:30.
At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Askar camp in Nablus city, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:00.
Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Abdel-Kareem Haroun in Askar camp in Nablus city.
At 08:30, Israeli military intensified their restrictions at Za'tara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 09:45.
At 09:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Mu'arajat road {which connects Jericho and Ramallah district} then searched residents and vehicles until 10:20.
1. At 15:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at theNorth entrance of Nihalin town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.
2. At 15:15,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 16:05.
1. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:15.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:15.
1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ameer Ahmad Mahmoud Taqatqa {16 years old} and Abdallah Thiyab Abdallah Thawabta in Beit Fajjar town.
2.Israeli forces detained Ahmad Ali Qassim Al-Shiekh in Marah Rabah village.
1. At 19:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Einun village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.
2. At 20:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:50.
1. At 15:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town, clashed with several residents and detained 3 residents {including a child}.
2. At 07:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city then stormed and searched 2 homes.
3.At dawn on January 20th 2020, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, detained 3 residents {including a Palestinian Police Force officer}.
4. At dawn on January 20th 2020, Israeli forces raided Dura town and detained a resident.
1.Israeli forces detained 3 residents:Reda Mahmoud Saleh Abu Ayyash {14 years old}, Atef Ahmed Hamdan Allami and Jihad Yusuf Hamdan Allami in Beit Ummar town.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents:Policeman - Ibrahim Khalil Attia, Samer Musa Al-Dabassa, and Muhannad Mahmoud Abu Malach in Yatta town.
3. Israeli forces detained Anas Ibrahim Shadid in Dura town.
At 15:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Ummar.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
1. At 15:20 on January 19th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line luanched tank artillary shells towards Palestinian gunmen sites located in east Beit Hanun town.
2.At 16:50 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agriculural land in east Beit Hanun town.
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:40 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Deir Al-Balah city.
1.At 08:45 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2.At 14:00 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khan Yunis city.
3. At 15:20 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
4. At 18:50 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Khan Yunis city.
5. At 19:55 on January 19th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khan Yunis city.
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
