DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00,27th December 2019 – 08:00, 28th December 2019
On December 27th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near Bab Al-Rahma in the old city of Jerusalem temporarily detained Nasrallah Muneer Al-Awar {a resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} then released him at a later time.
1. At 13:20,Israeli forces positioned at the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village {which is closed by the Israeli Military} fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents {protesting against the continued closure} for alleged stoning.
2. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned near Jaljuliya military checkpoint located at the south east entrance of Qalqiliya city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
At 16:50,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwara military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Deir Ballout town and Rafat village then searched residents and vehicles until 16:30.
At 10:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the Dead Sea junction then searched residents and vehicles.
At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Tarqumiya town, detained a resident then withdrew at 02:45.
Israeli forces detained Raed Ibrahim Jameel Taninat in Tarqumiya town.
On December 27th 2019, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Arrub camp fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire,launching stun and tear gas canisters and launching tank artillery shells from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza, Central Gaza, Khan Yunis and Rafah districts and as a result injured 17 residents.
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
At 14:00 on December 27th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Jabaliya town during the march of return and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
At 14:00 on December 27th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Gaza city during the march of return and as a result left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
At 14:00 on December 27th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators near east Al- Buriej camp during the march of return and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

1. At 12:55 on December 27th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
2. At 14:00 on December 27th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 11 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.

At 14:00 on December 27th 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several demonstrators in east Rafah city participating in the right of return march and as a result injured 2 residents and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
