DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 6th January 2020 – 08:00, 7th January 2020
At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Jaba' village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Anata town.
2. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Aqab town.
On the morning of January 6th 2020, Israeli forces detained Anas Mohammad Abu Al-Humus in Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
On January 6th 2020, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city banned Ahmad Rakan {a resident of Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem as a condition of his release after he was detained at an earlier time.
On January 6th 2020, Israeli authorities forced Mohammad Nassar and his brother Maher to demolish their homes in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city {in order to avoid paying a fine in the event that Israeli Military forces demolished the home} for allegedly being built without licenses.
At 09:00,a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
On January 6th 2020, Israeli authorities approved plans for the construction of 1150 settlement units,It is the first stage of planning procedures, and it has also finally approved a plan to build 786 housing units - (of which 285 are housing units in the "Hawarsha" settlement outpost located in the Ramallah district, and 180 housing units are in the Mitzpeh Dani settlement located in the Ramallah district , 147 settlement housing units in the Mitzpeh Jericho settlement located in Jericho district, 107 settlement housing units in the “Alon Moreh” settlement located in Nablusdistrict, 100 housing units in the Neve Tesuf settlement located in Ramallah district, and 40 settlement housing units In the “Bedouil” colony in Salfit district, which is located on Al-Mawa lands Nin within the occupied territories in 1967.

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town, Jalboun, Deir Ghazala and Beit Qad villages until 13:20.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces raided Zubaba village.
3. At 19:45, Israeli forces raided Silat Al-Thaher town.
4. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin city, Jenin camp and Jalqamous village, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and a steel mill, detained 2 residents, confiscated equipment from the steel mill then withdrew at 01:50.
Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Rushdi Subhi Al-Bath, and his sons Uday and Mohammad in Jenin city.
At 00:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes and a steel mill during their raid into Jenin city and its camp.
At 00:20, Israeli forces confiscated equipment from a steel mill owned by Rushdi Al-Bath during their raid into Jenin city.
At 18:30,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Enav military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
At 13:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shufat village then searched residents and vehicles until 15:30.
At 05:10, Israeli forces raided Zieta town.
1. At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Al-Tabib village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Azzun town and Izbit Al-Tabib village then detained a resident.
1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town until 14:55.
2. At 16:40, Israeli forces raided Jayyous town.
3. At 04:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqiliya city until 06:10.
1. At 23:00, Israeli forces detained Abdel-Hameed Abu Haniya {a resident of Azzun town} then confiscated his vehicle.
2. At 23:00, Israeli forces positioned at "Kaddumim" settlement junction detained 3 residents: Abdallah Hamad Adwan {a national Security force officer} and his brothers Naser and Mahmoud {all are residents of Azzun town}.
3. Israeli forces positioned at a checkpoint in the area between Azzun and Izbit Al-Tabib village detained Khalid Ismail Sawadin.
At 18:20, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Azzun town fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
At 23:00, Israeli forces confiscated a vehicle owned by Abdel-Hameed Abu Haniya {a resident of Azzun town} after detaining him.
At 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Muraba' area located near the entrance of Tel village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:40.
1. At 09:00, Israeli forces raided Sara village until 11:00.
2. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Al-Bibban Al-Sharqiya village until 16:00.
3. At 00:15, Israeli forces raided Yitma village until 03:15.
4. At 02:55, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Balata camp, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:30.
5 At 07:50, Israeli forces raided Orif and Einbus villages.
Israeli forces detained Jaber Mahmoud Awayis in Balata camp in Nablus city.
At 14:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Ara'il" settlement roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
At 20:55, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town as they escorted a group of Israeli settlers who were storming archaeological sites then withdrew at a later time.
At 23:55, a group of Israeli settler broke water meters of several homes located in Kafil Harris town as they were storming archaeological sites in the area.
At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 20:50.
At 11:00, Israeli forces demolished 6 mobile homes (caravans) and a livestock den {for raising sheep}, in the Ras Al-Auja area, west of Al-Auja village, north of Jericho and as a result left 1 resident hospitalized with contusions , 5 houses were confiscated after they were dismantled, for allegedly being located on land in Area (C) which is under Israeli control, and the houses and live stockden that were demolished are owned by Suleiman Nassar Najada, Nayef Abu Kharbish, Fadi Abu Kharbish, Jamal Herizat, Muhammad Herizat, Rami Harizat, and Fadi Harizat.
At 11:00, Israeli forces demolished a livestock den and 6 mobile homes {caravans} located Ras Al-Oja area located in west Al-Oja village located in North Jericho city.
At 11:00, Israeli forces confiscated 5 mobile homes {caravans} after dismantling them in Ras Al-Oja area located in west Al-Oja village located in North Jericho city.
At 14:25, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents who attempted to prevent Israeli forces from demolishing their mobile homes in Ras Al-Oja area located in west Al-Oja village located in North Jericho city.
Soliman Salem Ka'abna was hospitalized with contusions as Israeli forces demolished his mobile home{ as he was inside it} in Ras Al-Oja area located in west Al-Oja village located in North Jericho city.
1. At 10:50,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:40.
2. At 14:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:50.
At 16:00, Israeli forces raided Marah Rabah village until 16:10.
1. At 09:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Thahriya town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Hawawir area junction {located at the North entrance of Halhul town} then searched residents and vehicles.
1. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, Tafuh and Bani Na'im towns until 05:05.
2. At 03:25, Israeli forces raided Al-Arrub camp, stormed and searched several homes, detained 4 residents{including 2 children and 2 Security force officers} and confiscated 2000 NIS.
Israeli forces detained 4 residents:Omar Jasser Al-Sharif - from the Presidential Guard, the policeman - Izz al-Din Jamal al-Jundi, the child - Ahmed Hassouna al-Badawi {16 years old}, and the child - Muhammad Ahmad al-Jabri {16 years old} in Al-Arrub camp.
At 17:55, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Thaher area located in Beit Ummar town located near "Karmi Tsur" settlement fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning and as a result left several residents suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
At 03:25, Israeli forces confiscated 2000 NIS from Amjad Jawabir during their raid into Al-Arub camp.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
At 08:15 on January 6th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Gaza city.
1. At 11:30 on January 6th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Maghazi camp.
2. At 14:30 on January 6th 2020, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in south east Deir Al-Balah city.
At 12:30 on January 6th 2020,Israeli forces escorting military bulldozers stormed 50 m into the vicinity of east Abbassan Al-Kabira town located in east Khan Yunis city then opened fire as they leveled a plot of land then withdrew at 16:00.
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
At 23:40 on January 6th 2020,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Rafah city.
