DAILY SITUATION REPORT
08:00, 2nd December 2019 2019 – 08:00, 3rd December 2019
At dawn on December 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Anata town then stormed and searched 2 homes.
On the evening of December 2nd 2019, Israeli forces temporarily detained Shadi Al-Matour in Jerusalem city then released him after questioning him at the Interrogation center in Al-Maskubiya.
At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
1. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Beituniya town, detained a resident then withdrew at 06:20.
2. At 04:10, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained 3 residents.
3. At dawn on December 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Ramallah city and detained a resident.
1. Israeli forces detained Khalid Zahur in Beituniya town.
2. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Tarik Abu Harb, Ghassan Mohammad Taha and Othman Tayseer in Deir Abu Mash'al town.
3. Israeli forces detained Issam Zuhier Taher in Ramallah city.
On December 2nd 2019, Israeli authorities paved a 2 km long road on residential owned land in Safa village to prepare for settlement construction in the area.
At dawn on December 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Ya'bad town, stormed and searched a home using police search dogs and confiscated sums of cash and gold jewelry.
At 04:25 on December 2nd 2019, Israeli forces detained Mahmoud Mohammad Abu Irmaleh during their raid into Jenin camp.
At dawn on December 3rd 2019, Israeli forces confiscated sums of cash and gold jewelry after storming and searching the home of Mohammad Ali Qubha Rihan during their raid into Ya'bad town.
At 15:30,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Enav military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 17:20.
At dawn on December 3rd 2019, Israeli forces raided Attil town then stormed and searched a home.
At 21:20, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
At 16:45, Israeli forces positioned near Jaljuliya Military checkpoint located at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
1. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Zuwata village.
2. At 03:10, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Balata camp, detained 3 residents then withdrew at 05:40.
3. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qalil village and detained 2 residents.
1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Warad Jihad Abdel-Salam Abu Rizq, Ayoub Ramzi Dwikat and Issam Issam Halawa in Nablus city and Balata camp.
2.Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Muntasir Waleed Ammar and Wadah Nabeel Amer in Kafr Qalil village.
At 09:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Deir Istiya town then searched residents and vehicles.
At 22:30, Israeli forces raided Bruqin town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 23:00.
At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city, detained a resident then withdrew at 03:10.
Israeli forces detained Mu'in Ribhi Duma in Aqbat Jabr camp in Jericho city.
At 22:10, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Container military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 03:30.
1. At 10:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 11:30.
2. At 14:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 15:50.
1. At 11:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bab Al-Zawiya area in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 19:00,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the north entrance of Yatta town then searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 22:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Einoun village then searched residents and vehicles.
At 23:40, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Thahriya town detained 2 residents : Ahmad Sa'id Badawi Zahour and Fahed Salama Al-Atawna {both are residents of Beit Kahil town}.
On December 2nd 2019, Israeli forces stormed the old city of Hebron and forced store owners to close their shops in order for the Israeli settlers to take them over.
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire.
On the morning of 28 June 2019, the Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the sea fishing area in the north of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to 6 nautical miles from the port of Gaza and from the port of Gaza to the south of Rafah until 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza district.
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
On the afternoon of December 2nd 2019,Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
At 07:30 on December 1st 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town located in north east Khan Yunis city.
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
