JERUSALEM
Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Al-Eisawiya village detained Mohammad Awadallah Darbas and Muhanad Anwar Obied.
On May 23rd 2019, Israeli authorities in Jerusalem city issued an order banning Fadi Mithqal Al-Qalq {a resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city} from entering Al-Aqsa mosque for a period of 15 days as a condition for his release after being detained at an earlier town.
At 08:30,a group of Israeli settlers led by Yihyda Glick and under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.
RAMALLAH & AL BIREH
Since May 6 2019,the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for all civilians from 10:00 until 22:00 daily during which the checkpoint will be open from 07:00 until 22:00 for those entering Ramallah and Al-Bireh cities.
At 17:05, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city temporarily detained Billal Sa'id Sharif Jalamat then released him at a later time.
JENIN
At 23:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Rumana village and impeded the free flow of traffic in both directions then withdrew at a later time.
TUBAS
At 08:55, Israeli Military intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.
QALQILIYA
At 17:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.
At dawn on May 23rd 2019, Israeli forces detained Sameh Shukat Bayada during their raid into Jayyous town {as mentioned in the previous report}.
NABLUS
At 08:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shavie Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.
SALFIT
1. At 12:35 on May 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint detained Hamza Rashdan {a resident of Ein buis village in Nablus district}.
2. On the evening of May 23rd 2019, Israeli force positioned at Za'tara junction checkpoint detained Sari Jamal Ibrahim Al-QAdumi {a resident of Kafr Qaddum village in Qalqiliya district}.
3. At 04:20 on May 24th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at a military checkpoint detained Obied Abdel-Jabbar Samih Abu Ruz {a resident of Al-Zawiyab town} as he was returning from Nablus city.
BETHLEHEM
At 08:30, Israeli forces demolished a home owned {by a resident from Sur Baher village in Jerusalem city} located in Khalayil Al-Louz village for allegedly being built with out a licence because of its location in area C.
HEBRON
At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Huriya area located in the old city of Hebron then searched residents and vehicles.
At 18:35, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents : Majd Nafid al-Sharbati {16 years old}, and Marwan Nafid al-Sharbati {14years old} in the old city of Hebron then released them at a later time.
At 01:25, Israeli forces positioned near Khursa village junction fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
ALL DISTRICTS
• At 19:00 on August 26th 2019,The permanent and comprehensive cease-fire entered into force on the initiative and sponsorship of the Arab Republic of Egypt, after reaching understandings to open the crossings, introduce humanitarian and relief assistance and reconstruction supplies, expand the fishing area for 6 miles, Up to 12 miles by the end of the current year, reducing the area of the buffer zone from 300 m to 100 m, freedom of movement and preventing assassinations. The other issues, including the airport and the port, will be negotiated within one month of the cease-fire. The Israeli occupation forces increased the area of fishing, as opposed to the Wawa area In the north-west of the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip and up to the port of Gaza to 6 nautical miles, and opposite the port of Gaza and even opposite the city of Rafah to 12 nautical miles and on May 21st 2019,The Israeli occupation forces allowed the expansion of the permitted fishing area from the port of Gaza to the southern shore of Rafah to 15 nautical miles.
•Israeli forces broke the cease fire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza and Khan Yunis districts.
NORTHERN GAZA
* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
At 20:00 on May 23rd 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in North Beit Hanun town.
GAZA
* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
KHAN YUNIS
At 12:00 on May 23rd 2019,Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line fired live ammunition, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents in east Khuza'a town located in east Khan Yunis city.
RAFAH
* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
