WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. On the morning of January 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village, stormed and searched a home and summoned Samer Abu Rayala to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. On the evening of January 28th 2019, Israeli forces raided Anata town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

On January 28th 2019, Israeli forces detained 6 residents: Wajdi Abu Sabeeh, Mohammed Abu Sabeeh, Saad Farouk Abu Nab, Sami Farouk Abu Nab, Ahmed Zia Ghaith and Harbi Abu Sbeih. in Ras Al-Amoud and Silwan neighborhoods in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Military Checkpoints

On January 28th 2019, the Israeli occupation forces reopened Al-Mahkama" military checkpoint located near "Beit El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city for the staff of international organizations and those holding from VIP and PMC cardholders only. According to schedule of specific hours (Fridays: 10:00 to 16:00, Saturday: 18:00 to 22:00, Sunday to Thursday: 10:00 to 22:00) .

Raid

At dawn on January 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Silwad town, stormed and searched several homes, detained a resident then assaulted Mohammad Abdel Latif Lutfi Hamad leaving his hospitalized with contusions.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Abdel-Nasser Hamad in Silwad town.

Physical Assault

At dawn on January 29th 2019, Israeli forces assaulted Mohammad Abdel Latif Lutfi Hamad during their raid into Silwad town and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

JENIN

Raid

At 06:20, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes, detained 4 residents {including a Customs officer} and assaulted a resident leaving him hospitalized with contusions.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Ibrahim Ahmad Salfiti {A Customs Officer}, Mohammed Naji Berghish, Qusay Abu Khalifa and Mohammed Ali Samoudi during their raid into Jenin city and its camp.

Attack

At 06:20, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Jenin city and its camp.

Injuries

At 06:20, Israeli forces assaulted Ala Abu Khalifa during their raid into Jenin city and its camp a resident left him hospitalized with contusions.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 08:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Confiscation of Property

On January 28th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Al-Ras Al-Ahmar area located in the North Jordan Valley and confiscated a agricultural tractor owned by Ahmad Thiyab Abu Khaziran for allegedly operating in a restricted military zone.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 13:05,Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Enav Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 13:40.

Raid

1. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Bal'a town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 03:00.
2. At dawn on January 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Deir Al-Ghosoun town.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Jafar Ayman Abdel-Lattif Shahrour and Mahdi Hassan Al-Haj in Bal'a town.

Settlers Attacks

At 17:55, a group of Israeli settlers stormed agricultural land in Quffin town and chopped down Olive trees owned by Mahmoud Nasser Amarnah.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:10 and again at 19:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 14:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablat town tunnel {located at the south entrance of Qalqiliya city} then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 13:55, Israeli forces raided Kafr Qaddum village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 15:40.
2. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Furiq town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Nablus city until 05:30.
2. At dawn on January 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Awarta village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Yusef Awwad in Awarta village.

SALFIT

Raid

At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Bidya town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 03:00

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 13:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.
2. At 14:400, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {acted at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 15:00.
3. On the evening of January 28th 2019, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 12:45 and again at 01:05, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, stormed and searched 2 homes then withdrew at 04:40.

Physical Assault

At dawn on January 29th 2019, Israeli forces positioned at the west entrance of Beit Jallah city assaulted Soliman Abdel-Karim Musa {A resident of Al-Aza camp in Bethlehem city} and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

Destruction of Property

On January 28th 2019, Israeli forces demolished a agricultural storage room located in Wadi Al-Ghut area in Husan village for allegedly being built in area C {which is under Israeli Military and Administrative control}.

Settlers Attacks

On January 28th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Awarid area located in Khilat Sakariya village {which is surrounded by "Ghush Itiziyon settlements} and planted several Fruit bearing trees in approximately 10 dunums of land owned by Odah family in an attempt to seize the plot of land.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16;30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Majd village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At dawn on January 29th 2019, Israeli forces raided Dura town and summoned Abdel-Hamid Shadid to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Confiscation of Property

On January 28th 2019, Israeli forces stormed Far'a area located in west Dura town and confiscated Electricity towers which were set up to transfer electricity from the town of Beit Ula to supply electricity in the southern Hebron District and work crews were prevented from working in the area under the pretext of working in Area C {which is under Israeli Military and administrative control}.

Settlers Attacks

On January 28th 2019, a group of Israeli settlers from "Beit Yitar" settlement which is located on Palestinian owned land in south east Yatta town ,assaulted several farmers {who are from Al-Mur and Al-Makhamra families} near Um Al-Khus and Khirniet Al-Bir villages and as a result left them hospitalized with contusions during which the settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military placed land marks in several areas {in an attempt to map out area for settlement expansion} which leads to the entrance of a tent and cave area were Ziyad Mohammad Yunis Makhamra and his family reside in and is located in Um Al-Aris village.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles, On August 15th 2018, Israeli forces increased the fishing area from 3 nautical miles up to 9 nautical miles from the coast of Al-Badeir area located in Central Gaza up to Rafah district located South of the Gaza strip and on October 6th 2018, Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit to 3 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip coasts and on October 23rd 2018 increased the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles to the all Gaza strip.

• The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza, Gaza and Khan Yunis districts and as a result injured 2 residents {including a school teacher while he was in a classroom in a public school in the town of Beit Hanoun town in North Gaza district}.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 11:20 on January 28th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Hanun town and as a result injured a school teacher while he was in a classroom in a public school.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Ramiz Mohammad Jum'a Al-Za'anin {a school teacher} as he was in a class room after opening fire towards agricultural land in east Beit Hanun town.

GAZA

Attack

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

Attack

On the morning of January 28th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Shija’iya neighborhood located in east Gaza city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 22:00 on January 28th 2019, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards several resiednts near the border fence in east Abbassan Al-Kabira located in east Khan Yunis city and as a result injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after opening fire towards several residents near the border fence in east Abbassan Al-Kabira located in east Khan Yunis city.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
*Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit and entry of residents.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entrance of Humanitarian aid, limited supplies of Diesel fuel and construction material for Internationally funded projects.
