WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces raided Biddu town until 11:35.
2. At dawn on August 8th 2018, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 3 residents including a child.

Detention

1. On the evening of August 7th 2018, Israeli forces detained Obada Siyam during their raid into Thuri neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. At dawn on August 8th 2018, Israeli forces detained Raed Al-Sayad {15 years old} in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Yazan Khalid Na'aji, Ameer Karkash and Mohammad Abdel-Hafith Attiya {17 years old} in Al-Eisawiya village.

House Demolition

1. On August 7th 2018, Israeli forces demolished 2 apartments {including a penthouse floor} owned by Suliman Al-Muhtasib and Samer Al-Muhtasib in Shu'fat neighborhood in Jerusalem city for alleged being built with out a licence.
2. On August 7th 2018, Israeli authorities forced Bassam Mahmoud Obiyat to demolish his home in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city and imposed a hefty financial penalty for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Destruction of Property

On August 7th 2018, Israeli forces demolished a merchant shop owned by Hussien Abu Sukar in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built with out a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 10:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nabi Saleh village junction then searched residents and vehicle.

Raid

1.On August 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town and clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes.
2. At 06:15, Israeli forces raided Bil'in village and detained 2 residents {including a child}.
3. At dawn on August 8th 2018, Israeli forces raided Beit Rima town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched several homes and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces detained Sari Issam Al-Barghouthi {A resident of Kobar village} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Rami Fadil Mustafa Al-Khatib {16 years old} and Moawiya Ghazi Saleh Al-Khatib in Bil'in village.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Azziz Wael Al-Rimawi and Samer Sami Al-Rimawi in Beit Rima town.

Attack

1. On August 7th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Beit Liqya town.
2. At dawn on August 8th 2018, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched several homes during their raid into Beit Rima town.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Silat Al-Harthiya town, Zubaba and Ti'nik villages until 12:45.
2. At 00:40, Israeli forces raided Saris and Al-Ijdayda villages.
3. At 00:50, Israeli forced raided Maythaloun town.

TUBAS

Raid

1. At 07:00 on August 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Tubas city , Tayassir, Al-Far'a and Al-Aqabat villages until 04:40.

TULKAREM

Raid

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces raided Baqat Al-Sharqiya and Zuwata towns, Al-Nazlat Al-Wusta , Nazlat Abu A-Nar and Nazlat Issa villages until 23:50.
2. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Beit Lid town and Rammin and Safarin villages until 03:00.
3. At 01:45, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Hassan Abu Bakr and Ahmad Wael Awayda in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqiliya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Izbat Jal'oud and Ras Attiya villages then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces raided Azzun town.
2. At 01:00, Israeli forces raided Baqat Al-Hatab village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Usayed Al-Barghouthi in Baqat Al-Hatab village.

Settlers Attacks

At 22:15, a Israeli settler vehicle travelling along the main road in Jinsafut village ran over Jihad Mahmoud Bashir and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions during which Israeli forces raided the village and confiscated surveillance camera footage from merchants shops near the area of the incident.

Injuries

Jihad Mahmoud Bashir was hospitalized with contusions after he was run over by a Israeli settler vehicle along the main road in Jinsafut village

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Nablus city and Assira Al-Shamaliya then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Masaudiya area junction located near Burqa village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Al-Bithan road {located at the east entrance of Nablus city} searched residents and vehicles.
4. At 19:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Burqa village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
5. At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Sabastiya village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
6. At 23:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Iraq Burin village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.

Raid

1. At 23:40, Israeli forces raided Bazariya village until 02:45.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided madma village.
3. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village.

Settlers Attacks

At 16:25, a group of Israeli settler stormed agricultural land in Beit Furiq town and opened random fire in the area.

JERICHO

Raid

At 12:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Oja village until 03:25.

Temporary Detention

On August 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge temporarily detained Wael Al-Hussieni {A resident of Jerusalem city} as he was travelling to attend his sons wedding in Jordan then released him after preventing him from crossing into Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area {located along the main road leading to the west villages of Bethlehem district} then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

Raid

At dawn on August 7th 2018, Israeli forces raided Harmalat village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Fadi Adel Khalil Attallah in Harmalah village.

HEBRON

Raid

At 15:50 and again at 23:05, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 4th 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip and on June 26th 2017 Israeli forces decreased the fishing limit back to 6 nautical miles and on October 17th 2017, Israeli forces increased the fishing limit back to 9 nautical miles and on December 12th 2017 reduced fishing area from 9 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles south of Wadi Gaza and opposite to Rafah and on July 17th 2018, Israeli forces reduced the fishing area from 6 nautical miles to 3 nautical miles.

•The Israeli Military broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire and launching tank artillery shells from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Gaza district and as a result killed 2 Palestinian Gunmen.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 10:40 on August 7th 2018, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line launched tank artillery shells and opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen locations in North West Beit Lahiya town and as a result killed 2 Palestinian gunmen.

Killings

Israeli forces killed 2 Palestinian Gunmen: Abdel-Hafith Mohammad Abdel-Hafith Al-Silwai {23 years old} and Ahmad Abdallah Jum'a Murjan {23 years old} after launching tank artillery shells and opened fire towards Palestinian gunmen locations in North West Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the exit of residents to travel for pilgrimage to Mecca.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
