Military Checkpoints

At 22:30, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Jaba' Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

At 02:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Anata town then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

At 09:10, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Nour Siyam and Husam Siyam in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Abu Dis town.
2. At 18:35, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Abu Dis town.

Temporary Detention

At 19:00, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child: Mohammad Al-Sa'ou {10 years old} in Al-Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem city then released him at a later time.

Demonstrations

On the evening of September 8th 2017, a demonstration took place in Al-Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem city protesting the seizure of a home for Settlement organizations.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 16:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sinjil town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 04:20, Israeli forces raided Kobar village and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Ahmad Yusef Hamdan Al-Barghouthi in Kobar village.

Demonstrations

At 13:50, 2 demonstrations took place in Ni'lin town and Bil'in village protesting against the construction of the wall during which Israeli forces prevented residents from reaching the demonstration site.

Attack

At 16:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning near the entrance of Deir Ijreer village.

JENIN

At 15:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Arana village then searched residents and vehicles.

TUBAS

At 17:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bardala village then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 11:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Baqa Al-Sharqiya town then searched residents and vehicles until 13:10.
2. At 17:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Safarin village then searched residents and vehicles.

QALQILIYA

Raid

At 18:15, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city, detained a Police Officer and temporarily detained Omar Odwan and released him at a later time then withdrew at 21:15.

Israeli forces detained Daraghma Odwan {A Police Officer} in Qalqilya city.

Temporary Detention

At 18:15, Israeli forces temporarily detained Omar Odwan during their raid into Qalqilya city then released him at a later time.

Demonstrations

At 13:40, a demonstration took place in Kafr Qaddum village against the closure of the east entrance during which they clashed with Israeli forces tried to disrupt the demonstration by firing rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards demonstrators who attempted to reach the demonstration site and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Attack

At 13:40,Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents who were participating in demonstrations against the closure of the east entrance of Kafr Qaddum village and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Assaf Abdel-Hadi Ali during clashes in Kafr Qaddum village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles until 18:50.
2. At 18:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafil Harris town and Harris village then searched residents and vehicles until 21:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 19:35.
2. At 23:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town and detained a resident.

Raid

1. At 17:25, Israeli forces raided Ayada camp in Bethlehem city until 17:40.
2. At 01:10, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town then stormed and searched 3 homes.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Nasseem Ali Taqatqa {A resident of Beit Fajjar town} near a checkpoint located at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town.

Attack

At 01:50, Israeli forces fire stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning near Jib Al-Thib town located near Za'tara town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Bani Na'im town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 16:35 and again at 03:00, Israeli forces raided Hebron city and detained 2 residents.
2. On September 8th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Karmil village and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Abdel-Rahman Fawzi Al-Khatin and Qusay Al-Fakhouri in Hebron city.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ratib Mohammad Abu Samara and Nassar Mohammad Abu Samara in Al-Karmil village.

Settlers Attacks

On September 8th 2017, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of the Israeli Military stormed Jalal area located in West Beit Ummar town and performed Talmudic rituals then went to archaeological sites in the area.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is open for the entry of 500 residents returning from Saudi Arabia after performing Hajj pilgrimage.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is closed
