WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Detention

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces detained Salah Thiyab Abdel-Fatah Al-Fakhouri in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At 15:10, Israeli forces detained Ahmad Idris {A resident of Al-Eisawiya village} in Jerusalem city.
3. At 20:30, Israeli forces detained Jamal Abu Nijmeh in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 21:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Ur Al-Foqa village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30.

Raid

1. At 21:40, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp until 22:00.
2. At 00:25, Israeli forces raided Beit Liqya town and detained 3 residents.
3. At 05:35, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village until 06:30.
4. At 06:30, Israeli forces raided Kafr Ni'meh village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Foad Al-Assi, Adeen Mafarjah and Abdel-Kareem Jamal Al-Assi in Beit Liqya town.
2. Israeli forces detained Sayef Atiyah in Kafr Ni'meh town.

Temporary Detention

At 14:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint near Atarah town bridge temporarily detained Ehab Ameen Al-Barghouthi {A Preventive Security Force officer}{A resident of Kafr Ein village} then released him 24:00.

JENIN

Raid

1. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Jenin camp and detained a resident.
2. At 07:40, Israeli forces raided Jalqamous village and detained 2 residents.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Assad Abu Khalifa in Jenin camp.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Abdel-Bassit Abdel-Latif Al-Haj and Abdel-Raheem Sami Suliman Al-Haj in Jalqamous village.

TUBAS

Flying Checkpoints

At 17:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village, temporarily detained 2 residents and released them at a later time then withdrew at 20:00.

Raid

At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Tubas city, stormed and searched 2 home, assaulted Aref Daraghmeh after storming and searching his home and also left 2 others hospitalized with contusion then withdrew at 05:10.

Physical Assault

At 01:35, Israeli forces assaulted Aref Daraghmeh after storming and searching his home during their raid into Tubas city and also left 2 others hospitalized with contusions.

Temporary Detention

At 17:50, Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located at the entrance of Ein Al-Bayda village detained 2 residents :Thaer Kamal Sa'ed Fuqaha and Mahmoud Awad Arshiyeh {A resident of Kardala village}.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 08:50 and again at 17:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00 and again at 18:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shufa village then searched resiednts and vehicles until 21:20.
2. At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Quffin town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Tulkarem camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home and detained a resident in Tulkarem camp.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ma'moun Hamad Abd Raboo Al-Obied in Tulkarem camp.

Attack

At 02:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed a home during their raid into Tulkarem camp in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.
2. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Jit village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 19:40.

Attack

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces positioned at the entrance of Azzun town fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 23:30, Israeli fired positioned at the west area of Jayyous town stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:20, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Beit Furik checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 15:00.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.

Assaults on Property

At 12:00, Israeli forces shut down electrical grid in Bidiya town this cutting off electricity to residents for a period of 3 hours for alleged electricity debts for the municipality.

JERICHO

Detention

At 20:35, Israeli forces positioned at Allenby bridge detained Marwa Zuhdi Awad {A resident of Budrus village in Ramallah and Al-Bierh district} as she was returning from Jordan.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 00:45.
2. At 22:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge { located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:45.

Raid

1. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city , detained 2 children then withdrew at 04:00.
2. At 01:25, Israeli forces raided Teqou' town, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 04:40.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Yazan Hamza Al-Kurdi {15 years old} and Ali Mohammad Al Jawarish in Ayda camp in Bethlehem city.
2. Israeli forces detained Ismail Musa Jibril in Teqou' town.

Temporary Detention

At 19:40, Israeli forces positioned near the south entrance of Bethlehem city temporarily detained 3 residents: Ibrahim Soliman Salah, Riziq Shihadeh Salah and Ashraf Mahmoud Salah {All are residents of Al-Khader town} then released them at 00:45

HEBRON

Military Checkpoints

At 10:25, Israeli forces closed Abu Al-Rish Military checkpoint located near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound in the old city of Hebron and prevented several students from crossing the checkpoint.

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Samou' and Al-Thahriya towns then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 11:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Wadi Al-Huriya area located in south Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 03:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Awwa town and detained a resident.
2. At dawn on August 24th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town then stormed and searched 3 homes.

Detention

1. At 12:10, Israeli forces detained Yahya Daniel Awad {A resident of Al-Fuewar camp} near near Al-Ibrahimi Mosque compound in the old city of Hebron
2. Israeli forces detained Jallal Naji Al-Sayouti in Beit Awa town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip

• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green line opened fire towards North Gaza district and as a result critically injured a resident.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination

Attack

At 18:30 on August 23rd 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards residents in North Beit Lahiya town and as a result critically injured a resident.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured a unidentified resident after opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards North Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

At 19:30 on August 23rd 2017, Israeli forces detained a unidentified residents in North Beit Lahiya town as he was attempting to climb the border fence into Israel.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
