WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Biddu town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 15:55.
2. At dawn on August 23rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Biddu town and detained 4 residents.
3. At dawn on August 23rd 2017, Israeli forces raided Kafr Aqab town and detained a resident.

Detention

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Fihmi Al-Faroukh {A resident of Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city}.
2. On the evening of August 22nd 2017, Israeli forces detained Loia Musa in Al-Shiekh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. On the evening of August 22nd 2017, Israeli forces detained Ibrahim Al-Hadarah in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
4. At dawn on August 23rd 2017, Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Manal Al-Shoubaki, Musa Fatatfa, Abdel-Kareem Shiekhawi, Ali Qarai'n and Mohammad Subieh in Jerusalem city.
5. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Yusef Ahmad Al-Sheikh, Mohammad Falah Al-Shiekh and Abdallah Kamal Al-Shiekh in Biddu town.
6. Israeli forces detained Salah Al-Hamori in Kafr Aqab town.

Attack

1. At 14:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Eizariya town.
2. At 22:30, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.

House Demolition

At 07:30, Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Abdel-Kareem Abu Sineneh in Silwan neighborhood for allegedly being built without a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 12:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 22:25, Israeli forces raided Ras Kar Kar village {for alleged firing towards a Military watch tower located at the village entrance} stormed and searched a home and inspected surveillance video footage then withdrew at 06:50.
2. At 05:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and detained a resident after storming his home.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Waleed Hamidat in Al-Jalazoun camp.

Attack

At 19:15, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning near the entrance of Al-Mughier village.

TUBAS

Military Checkpoints

At 13:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Tayassir military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

Raid

1. At 11:25, Israeli forces raided Bardala village and summoned Nasser Soliman Nassar Sawafta to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
2. At 02:45, Israeli forces raided Tayassir village until 05:55.

TULKAREM

Flying Checkpoints

At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Shifa village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:25, Israeli forces raided Izbit Shufa village.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Kafr Jamal village , stormed and searched a home then detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Mohammad Abdel-Mu'ti Ali in Kafr Jamal village.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Azzun Atma village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town and detained 2 residents.

Raid

At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Azzun Atma village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Moath Samer Badran and Ameer Kamal Suliman at a flying checkpoint near the entrance of Azzun town.
2. Israeli forces detained Jasser Issa Omar in Azzun Atma village.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 14:00 and again at 22:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Nablus city and Balata camp, stormed a home then withdrew at 05:20.

Settlers Attacks

At 02:35 a group of Israeli settlers driving a vehicle stormed Nablus city in an attempt to raid Joseph's Tomb during which they attempted to run over a Palestinian Police officer who was guarding the site and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions during which the settlers vehicle rammed into the steel barricade at the site and where handed over to Israeli Military forces by the Palestinian Police.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Rafat village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Kafil Harris and Harris village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 14:20, Israeli forces raided Harris village.
2. At 22:40, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town until 00:10.

Detention

At 04:00, Israeli forces positioned at Za'tara checkpoint junction detained Abdel-Fattah Maysar Judat Al-Badawi {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 13:20.

Raid

1. At 19:50, Israeli forces raided Za'tara town, clashed with several residents and as a result injured Sufiyan Ibrahim Zawahra leaving him hospitalized then withdrew at 02:00.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city until 06:00.

Attack

At 19:50, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canister towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Za'tara town and as s result left a resident injured after he was struck in the head by a tear gas canister.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured Sufiyan Hussien Ibrahim Zawahra during clashes in Za'tara town.

Confiscation of Property

On the evening of August 22nd 2017, Israeli forces confiscated several Mobile homes used as classroom for the main school in JIn Al-Thib village for allegedly being built without a licence

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Beit Einoun village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Ithna town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 10:10 and again at 00:20, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, detained a resident after storming and searching his home then withdrew at 05:10
2. At 10:10, Israeli forces raided Tafuh town and summoned Osama Abdel-Min'im Al-Taradah to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning
3. At 17:10, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town until 21:55.
4. At 00:20, Israeli forces raided Yatta town, stormed and searched a home and a mosque then withdrew at 05:10.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Kahild Ibrahim Abu Turki in Hebron city.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 00:20, Israeli forces stormed and searched a mosque during their raid into Yatta town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 07:15 on August 23rd 2017, Israeli Naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

Detention

At 10:30 on August 22nd 2017, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing detained Ayman Rafiq Abdel-Raziq Hamad {An employee of a Palestinian transportation company inside the crossing} { A residents of Beit Hanoun town}.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
