JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 12:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town, stormed and searched several homes then detained 5 residents.

Detention

1. At 10:00, Israeli forces detained Murad Farhat Abdel-Raheem Rayan {A resident of Beit Duqu town}.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces detained Alaa Abu Jum'a {15 years old} in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city.
3. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Mohammad Salah Muhisein, Raed Halabiya, Anas Abu Hilal, Hufaytha Ahmad Bader and Yazan Jamal Dandan.

Attack

1. At 19:10, Israeli forces positioned near Al-Ram town junction fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several resiednts for alleged stoning.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces positioned in Al-Tur neighborhood in Jerusalem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

Temporary Detention

On August 15 2017, Israeli Authorities sentenced Nasser Abdel-Latif {A resident of Al-Sa'aydeh Neighborhood in the old city of Jerusalem} to home imprisonment until August 18th 2017 and fined him 1000 NIS as part of his terms for release from Israeli custody after he was detained by Israeli forces.

House Demolition

1. At 06:00 on August 15th 2017, Israeli forces demolished a home {consisting of 2 floors} owned by Ahmad Qaher Hamdan and Abdallah Qaher Hamdan in Al-Eisawiya village for allegedly being built without a licence.
2. At 08:30, Israeli forces demolished a home owned by Mohammad Abdel-Fattah Abu Sinneneh in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a licence.

Destruction of Property

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces demolished a Car Wash owned by Bader Family in Beit Hanina town for allegedly being built without a licence.
2. At 09:00, Israeli forces demolished a merchant shop owned by Na'im Abu Dawih in Al-Sa'la area located between Jabal Al-Mukabir and Silwan neighborhoods in Jerusalem city for allegedly being built without a licence.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 08:50, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 21:30, Israeli forces raided Um Safa village and clashed with several residents.
2. At 01:40, Israeli forces raided Kubar village, clashed with several residents as they demolished the family home of a Palestinian Detainee and as a result injured 13 residents {including a Photo Journalist}, detained a resident then withdrew at 07:40.
3. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town and Abu Shikhidem village and clashed with several residents for alleged stoning.
4. At dawn on August 16th 2017, Israeli forces raided Deir Abu Mash'al village and detained a resident.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ahmad Ammar Qandah in Kobar village.
2. Israeli forces detained Taha Dar Taha in Deir Abu Mash'al village.

Attack

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces positioned at the wall gate in south Al-Bireh city fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning.
2. At 21:30, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Um Safa village.
3. At 01:40, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning as they demolished the family home of a Palestinian detainee during their raid into Kubar village and as a result injured 13 residents {including a Photo Journalist} and left several others suffocated from tear gas inhalation.
4. At 02:15, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Bir Zeit town and Abu Shikhedom village.

Injuries

Israeli forces injured 13 residents including photo Journalist Mohammad Radi during clashes in Kubar village.

House Demolition

At 01:40, Israeli forces demolished the family home of Omar Abed Khalil Al-Abed {A Palestinian Detainee} during their raid into Kubar village.

Raid

At 23:35, Israeli forces raided Bardala village.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 14:00, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 16:50

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Izbit Shufa village then searched residents and vehicles until 02:50

Raid

1. At dawn on August 15th 2017, Israeli forces raided Kafr Sur village and detained a resident.
2. At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:00.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Khalil Ibrahim Abdel-Qadder Tayem in Kafr Sur village.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Rami Aqab Jaber and Abdel-Rahman Aqab Jaber in Shwikiya neighborhood in Tulkarem city.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the east entrance of Qalqilya city then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 06:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Qaddum village then searched residents and vehicles.

Detention

On August 12th 2017, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Banan Zahi Thaer Ali and Mahmoud Abdallah Mahmoud Ali at the entrance of Kafr Qaddum village.

Physical Assault

On the evening of August 15th 2017, Israeli forces positioned near the entrance of Azzun Atma village detained Mohammad Abdel-Raheem Yassin {A resident of Tulkarem city} as he was returning from work inside the Green Line and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

NABLUS

Military Checkpoints

At 23:25, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at Huwwara Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic.

At 00:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shomron" settlement junction and detained a resident.

1. On the morning of August 15th 2017, Israeli forces raided Salem village and detained 2 residents.
2. At 02:20, Israeli forces raided Aqraba town then stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. At 23:25, Israeli forces positioned at Huwwara military checkpoint detained Mohammad Khalid Hashash {A resident of Balata camp in Nablus city}.
2. Israeli forces positioned at a flying checkpoint located near "Shave Shomron" settlement junction detained Hytham Fa'eq Yusef {A resident of Bi'r Al-Basha village in Jenin district}.
3. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Anas Hytham Abdel-Fattah Jawabra and Islam Mahmoud Al-Shouli {Both are residents of Assira Al-Shimaliya town} in Salem village.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Rafat village then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 16:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Qarwat Bani Hassan town then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 20:40, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town, temporarily detained 2 residents and released them at a later time then withdrew at 00:30.

Detention

On August 15th 2017, Israeli forces detained Jamil Abdallah Mansour {A Palestinian Intelligence agency officer}{A resident of Yasuf village} near "Arail" settlement.

Temporary Detention

1. At 19:20, Israeli forces positioned near Harris town temporarily detained Foad Saber Qassam {A resident of Harris town} then released him at later time.
2. At 20:40, Israeli forces temporarily detained 2 residents: Ibrahim Mustafa Abu Yacoub and Ayman Foad Buziya during their raid into Kafil Harris town.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 21:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 23:00.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 14:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 16:00.
2. At 19:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasna area located near the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 00:15.
3. At 24:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 02:00.

Raid

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 12:20.
2. At 13:20, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village and served military orders for the demolition of 3 homes owned by Ali Mustafa Abdel-Qadder Mustafa, Majdi Mahmoud Hassan Ghayada and Mohammad Ismail Shakarnah for allegedly being built without a licence.
3. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Walja village then stormed and searched several homes.
4. At 03:25, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and Al-Duhisheh camp, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 7 homes and closed down a restaurant in the camp, detained a resiednts and detained 2 residents: Shadi Issa Mohammad Ma'ali and Faris Jibril Al-Hasanat to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.

Israeli forces detained Bassam Ibrahim Al-Salhi in Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

Attack

1. At 18:15, Israeli forces positioned near the west entrance of Teqou' town fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several resiednts for alleged stoning.
2. At 03:25, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 7 homes and closed down a restaurant during their raid into Al-Duhisheh camp in Bethlehem city.

HEBRON

Raid

1. At 13:10, Israeli forces raided Hebron city.
2. At dawn on August 16th 2017, Israeli forces raided Al-Thahriya town and detained 3 residents.

Detention

1. At 22:30, Israeli forces detained Mohammad Kayed Idris in the old city of Hebron.
2. Israeli forces detained Naseem Nayef Awawadeh , Murad Tayseer Omar and Akram Samara in Al-Thahrioya town.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
