WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

At 03:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town and detained 2 residents {including a child}.

Detention

1. At 18:30, Israeli forces detained Mustafa Gibriel Al-Salamiya {A resident of Al-Ram town}.
2. Israeli forces detained Mohammad Bassam Ma'tuq {17 years old} and Mohammad Anas Dweik in Al-Eizariya town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:30, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police officers stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound and provoked worshipers.

Settlers Attacks

On the evening of July 31st 2017, a group of Israeli settlers stormed the African Community neighborhood in the old city of Jerusalem and assaulted several residents and as a result injured a resident and his wife leaving them hospitalized with contusions.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road connecting Abboud town and Deir Nathim village then searched residents and vehicles until 05:40.

Deportation

On July 31st 2017, Israeli Authorities ordered the deportation of Karam Falah Ramadan Abed Rabbo {A Customs Police Officer} to the Gaza Strip alleging that he holds a Identification Card Issued in Gaza after he was detained near "Al-Mahkama" Military checkpoint located near "Bet El" settlement in North Al-Bireh city {As mentioned in the report dated July 29th 2017}.

JENIN

Temporary Detention

At 21:55, Israeli forces positioned at Al-Jalmah Military checkpoint temporarily detained the child Karam Mohammad Tayseer Khalil {9 years old}{A resident of Anin village} then released him at a later time.

TULKAREM

Military Checkpoints

At 09:15, Israeli forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" Military checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 10:15.

Flying Checkpoints

At 22:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along "Al-Kafriyat" road{which connects Tulkarem and Qalqilya} then searched residents and vehicles until 22:40.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 10:20 and again at 20:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Azzun town bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 20:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Hablah town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Azzun town then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 15:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Bazariya village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 16:50
2. At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Dajan village then searched residents and vehicles until 03:00.

Raid

At 23:00, Israeli forces raided Madma village.

Settlers Attacks

On July 31st 2017, a group of Israeli settlers stormed Al-Khafafish area located in Jallud village and installed 10 Mobile homes on a plot of land in an attempt to establish a new settlement outpost.

SALFIT

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 12:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint beneath Iskaka village bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 22:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the west entrance of Harris village then searched residents and vehicles until 22:45.
3. At 01:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Qarwat Bani Hassan and Bidya towns then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 23:30, Israeli forces raided Kafil Harris town.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Husan village then searched residents and vehicles until 17:30.
2. At 15:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahur city} then searched residents and vehicles until 00:50.
4. At 00:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Jinata town then searched residents and vehicles until 00:55.

Raid

1. At 19:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Walaja village until 20:30.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Nihalin village and summoned Hassan Mohammad Najajrah to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning then withdrew at 02:40.
3. At 02:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Khader town, detained 3 residents {including a child} then withdrew at 04:15.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 3 residents: Samer Mahmoud Ahmad Issa {16 years old}, Zien Al-Din Ahmad Sayil Issa and Mohammad Kamal Ismail Al-Faghouri in Al-Khader town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Wadi Obied and Khirbeit Salamah villages then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 21:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Halhul town then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 21:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arub camp then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 23:25, Israeli forces raided Khursa village and detained a resident.
2. At 06:25, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed and searched several homes and merchant shops then detained a resident.
3. At dawn in August 1st 2017, Israeli forces raided Ithna town, stormed and searched a home.

Detention

1. Israeli forces detained Ma'moun Mahmoud Suliman Omar in Khursa village.
2. Israeli forces detained Islam Tamim Al-Khatib in Hebron city.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the seaport and airports and on May 3rd 2017, Israeli authorities increased the fishing limit to 9 nautical miles from Wadi Gaza until the south border of the Gaza strip
• Israeli Military forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
•Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza and Central Gaza Districts.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Attack

At 19:40 on July 31st 2017, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Sudaniya area located in west Beit Lahiya town.

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

CENTRAL GAZA

Attack

At 07:50 on July 30th 2017, Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Deir Al-Balah city.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 07:30 on July 30th 2017, Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land in east Al-Qarara town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects
