Daily Report February 8, 2017

At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Biddu town until 05:00.

1. At 21:15, Israeli forces positioned at Jaba' Military checkpoint detained Qassim Abu Abdo {A resident of Al-Bireh city}.
2. At dawn on February 8th 2017, Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Malik Abu Teir, Mohammad Abu Teir, Mustafa Abu Teir, Mohammad Qanbar and Ab dallah Shiqirat in Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city and in Um Tuba village.

At 09:00, Israeli forces served a military order to ban Thiyab Subeih {A Security Guard at Al-Aqsa mosque compound} from entering the compound for a period of 15 days.

1. On February 7th 2017, Israeli forces stormed Beit Hanina town and demolished a home {consisting of 4 floors and 3 separate apartments} owned by Adel Abu Sineneh and Zakaraiya Musa Anati for allegdly being built with out a licence.
2. On the morning of February 8th 2017, Israeli forces stormed Tel Al-Fol area located in Beit Hanina town and demolished a home {under construction} owned by Ameen Abu Rumeleh for allegedly being built with out a licence.

At 11:00, Israeli forces raided the old city of Jerusalem then stormed A Orphanage School {Dar Al-Aytam} for alleged stoning from the school.

1. At 17:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along Ein Sinya village roundabout then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 17:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of Deir Ibzi' village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 17:45, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Halamish" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 08:50, Israeli forces demolished 2 structures owned by Bassam Ali Radi Fuqaha {A resident of Bardala village} near Bardala village located in the North Jordan valley.
2. At 10:00, Israeli forces demolished a live stock structure owned by Ali Izat Yusef Bani Odeh in Al-Ras Area located in the North Jordan Valley.

At 18:00,Israeli military forces intensified their restrictions at "Enav" checkpoint and impeded the free flow of traffic until 20:40.

At 14:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Baqa town junction then searched residents and vehicles until 17:25.

At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Tulkarem city and Tulkarem camp, detained a resident in the city then withdrew at 04:00

Israeli forces detained Muhanad Sufiyan Zaki Matar in Tulkarem city.

1. At 18:00, Israeli forces raided Kafr Thulth town, stormed and searched the home of Khadr Awad Mara'ba' then summoned his son to report to Israeli Intellegnce for questioning.
2. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Qalqilya city and clashed with several residents.

1. At 10:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Assirah Al-Shamaliya then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.
2. At 17:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Osarin village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:10.

At 16:25, Israeli forces raided Sabastiya village and it blew up a Palestinian flag mas {for the 2nd consecutive time}, clashed with several residents and detained 2 residents.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents :Loai Arafat Qayed and Moayad Rafi Makhalfa in Sabastiya village.

At 19:35, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Furiq military checkpoint temporarily detained Mustafa Marwan Sayel for allegedly possessing a knife then released him at a later time

1. At 10:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the North entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 11:20.
2. At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the South entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Jiftlik village, detained 2 residents, confiscated farming equipment after they stormed and searched a storage room owned by Nael Yusef Bani Odeh.

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Ibrahim Saleem Ghayth Abu Dalakh and Nawaf Ibrahim Jabalin in Jiftlik village.

1. At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Nihalin village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:00.
2. At 20:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Aqbat Hasnah area {located along the main road leading to the west neighborhoods of Bethlehem District} then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Al-Nashash area junction {located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} en searched residents and vehicles until 03:50.

1. At dawn on February 7th 2017, Israeli forces raided Husan village, temporarily detained 3 children: Mu'taz Tariq Ismail Hamamrah {15 years old}, Mohammad Raed Hamamrah {14 years old}, Layth Khalil Atiya Shushat {15 years old} then released them at a later time.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces raided Irtas village.
3. At 19:25, Israeli forces raided Jinata town until 18:45.
4. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town and detained 2 residents.
5. At 01:35, Israeli forces raided Husan village, detained 2 residents after storming and searching their homes.
6. At 03:40, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city and Ayda camp and summoned 3 residents: Mohammad Omar Ziyadah {A resident of Bethlehem city}, Ismail Yusef Khalil Saqer {A resident of Ayda camp} and Khalil Abu Sarour {A resident of Ayda camp} to report to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.

1. At 19:30, Israeli forces positioned near Bethlehem city detained Haytham Ahmad Mohammad Assaf {A resident of Qabatiya town in Jenin district}.
2. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Jihad Ahmad Hamdan Thawabteh and Fadi Fayez Mohammad Taqatqa in Beit Fajjar town.
3. Israeli forces detained Hassan Ali Hamamrah and Mohammad Samih Hamamrah in Husan village.

1. At 16:20, Israeli forces positioned in Ein Al-Hawa area near Husan village fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning and temporarily detained 4 residents: Wael Jamil Shahin, Sa'id Jamil Atiyah Shushah, Shadi Taha Thiyab Sabatin and Omar Thiyab Shushah then released them at a later time.
2. At 16:20, Israeli forces positioned near Ayda camp in Bethlehem city fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning.

1. At 07:50 on February 7th 2017, Israeli forces set up 2 checkpoints near the entrances of Dura town and Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 08:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Zif village junction then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 18:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arub camp then searched residents and vehicles until 19:10.

1. At 01:05, Israeli forces raided Yatta town and detained 2 residents.
2. At dawn on February 8th 2017, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and detained a child.

1. Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Sa'ed Jibril Barakar Mar and Hassan Jibril Barakar Mar in Yatta town.
2. Israeli forces detained Waseem Taha Abu Mariya {16 years old} Beit Ummar town.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
