WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Raid

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces raided Abu Dis town and clashed with several residents.
2. At 14:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns until 16:30.
3. At dawn on November 2nd 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Eisawiya village and detained 5 residents.

Detention

1. On the evening of November 1st 2016, Israeli forces detained Bassam Haytham Hijazi in Al-Sa'ydeh neighborhood in the old city of Jerusalem.
2. At dawn on November 2nd 2016, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Hani Mohammad Dubash and Na'ela Halayqa in Sur Baher village.
3. Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Ismail Muhisien, Nadeem Al-Safadi, OdayDari, Mahmoud Abu Sineneh and Adam Mustafa in Al-Eisawiya village.

Physical Assault

At 18:00, Israeli forces assaulted Hazim Al-Sayad in Al-Tur neighborhood of Jerusalem city.

Attack

1. At 11:00, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Abu Dis town.
2. At 20:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning in Aqbat Al-Siraya area in the old city of Jerusalem.

Assault on Educational sector

At dawn on November 1st 2016, Israeli forces stormed Al-Quds University Campus mosque in Abu Dis town and served a military order preventing the Mosque Imam from calling for prayers from inside the mosque.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

1.At dawn on November 1st 2016, Israeli forces stormed Al-Quds University Campus mosque in Abu Dis town and served a military order preventing the Mosque Imam from calling for prayers from inside the mosque.
2. At 08:00, Israeli settlers under the protection of Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Raid

1. At 11:55, Israeli forces raided Beitunia town.
2. At 01:55, Israeli forces raided Bir Ziet town until 05:50.
3. At 02:30, Israeli forces raided Awarta town until 04:50.
4.At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Amari camp in Al-Bireh city, detained 2 residents then withdrew at 05:50.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Alaa Abu Ruwis and Fihmi Hassan Zahur in Al-Amari camp located in Al-Bireh city.

JENIN

Flying Checkpoints

At 11:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arraba town junction then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 11:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalmah, Arana, Arabuna and Deir Ghazalah villages until 14:10.
2. At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Zababda town until 06:40.

TUBAS

Assaults on Property

At 09:25, Israeli forces temporarily removed 9 families from their homes in Ras Al-Hamra area located in the North Jordan valley in order to conduct military exercises in the area from 16:00 on November 1st 2016 until 11:00 on November 2nd 2016.

QALQILIYA

Flying Checkpoints

At 19:10, Israeli forces set up 3 checkpoints at the entrances of Azzun town, Izbit Al-Tabib village and beneath Azzun bridge {located along the main road connecting Qalqilya and Tulkarem} then searched residents and vehicles.

NABLUS

Flying Checkpoints

At 15:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Tel and Iraq Burin villages then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Nablus city , detained 4 residents then withdrew at 05:45.

Detention

1. At 17:30, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Furiq checkpoint detained Abdallah Ramadan Nasser Hanini {A resident of Beit Furiq town}.
2. Israeli forces detained 4 residents: Layth Alam Hamdi Khashana, Bader Amar Ismail Tashtoush,Abdel-Kareem Tayi' Hussien and Nasser Hani Izat Halawah in Nablus city.

Temporary Detention

At 17:30, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Furiq checkpoint temporarily detained 2 residents:Akram Nadeen Hanini and Mohammad Waleed Hanini {Both residents of Beit Furiq town} then released then at a later time.

JERICHO

Flying Checkpoints

At 10:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along road (90) in Al-Oja village then searched residents and vehicles.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 13:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Wadi Fuqin village then searched residents and vehicles until 14:40.
2. At 15:35, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Al-Nashash area junction{ located at the south entrance of Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles until 16:10.
3.At 19:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Dar Salah village bridge {located at the east entrance of Beit Sahour city} then searched residents and vehicles until 20:30.
4. At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Za'tara town then searched residents and vehicles until 21:40.

Raid

1. At 09:30, Israeli forces raided Beit Jallah city until 10:30.
2. At 16:30, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, stormed the camp cemetery then withdrew at a later time.
3. At 03:15, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town until 06:40.
4. At 03:45, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem city, Dheisheh and Ayda camps, clashed with several residents in Dheisheh camp, detained 5 residents {including a child} and assaulted a resident and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions then withdrew at later time.

Detention

Israeli forces detained 5 residents: Nabeel Muh'sien Abu Yabis (15 years old){A residents of Dheisheh camp}, Oday Muh'sien Abu Yabis {A residents of Dheisheh camp}, Eiliyas Salah Faraj {A residents of Dheisheh camp}, Mohammad Fihmi Qawar {A residents of Dheisheh camp} and Muhanad Abu Sarour {A residents of Ayda camp} during their raid into Bethlehem city, Dheisheh and Ayda camps.

At 03:45, Israeli forces assaulted Baha Muh'sin Yabis during their raid into Dheisheh camp located in Bethlehem city and as a result left him hospitalized with contusions.

At 03:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Bethlehem city, Dheisheh and Ayda camps.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

At 08:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Sa'ir town then searched residents and vehicles until 11:00.

Raid

1. At 05:30 on November 1st 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Shiyoukh town , stormed a home then withdrew at 05:50.
2. At 00:35, Israeli forces raided Hebron city, stormed several homes then withdrew at 06:00.
3. At 01:20, Israeli forces raided Beit Ulla town until 05:35.
4. At 01:30, Israeli forces raided Sa'ir town, stormed a home then withdrew at 02:40.

Detention

On November 1st 2016, Israeli forces positioned at Abu Al-Rish checkpoint in the old city of Hebron detained Sabah Abdel-Mu'ti Abu Maliya.

Closure of main Roads

1. At 17:20, Israeli forces closed the steel gate located at the entrance of Beit Einoun village and impeded the free flow of traffic.
2. At 19:55, Israeli forces closed east entrance of Al-Thahriya town with dirt mounds.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by raiding and opening fire towards North Gaza districts.
• Israeli forces broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire from their positions behind the Green Line towards Khan Yunis district.
• Israeli Naval vessels broke the ceasefire agreement by opening fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of North Gaza.

NORTHERN GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.

Raid

At 07:30 on November 1st 2016, Israeli forces escorting Military bulldozers stormed 100m into the vicinity of North Beit Lahiya town then opened fire as they levelled a plot of land then withdrew at 15:00.

Attack

At 08:30 on November 1st 2016, Israeli naval vessels opened fire towards Palestinian fishing boats off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town, temporarily detained 6 fishermen {including a child} then released then after confiscating their fishing boat.

Temporary Detention

At 08:30 on November 1st 2016, Israeli Naval forces temporarily detained 6 fishermen {including a child}: Billal Hassan Abu Rayaleh {14 years old}, Mohammad Khalil Abu Rayala, Shaher Muhisien Abu Rayala, Khalid Rajab Abu Rayalah, Ali Hassan Abu Rayalah and Hassan Abu Sam'an then released then after confiscating their fishing boat off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town .

Confiscation of Property

At 08:30 on November 1st 2016, Israeli Naval forces confiscated a fishing boat off the shores of Al-Waha area located in North West Beit Lahiya town .

GAZA

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

KHAN YUNIS

Attack

At 07:30 on November 1st 2016, , Israeli forces positioned behind the Green Line opened fire towards agricultural land located in east Khuz'a town.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed.
* Sufa Crossing is closed.
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is partially open for the entry of goods, fuel, construction material for the private sector and internationally funded projects.
