Daily Report August 24th 2016

1. At dawn on August 23rd 2016, Israeli forces raided Al-Issawiya village and detained a resident.

3. At 22:55, Israeli forces raided Hizma town, clashed with several residents and temporarily
detained the child Yusef Bassam Kamal Subieh (14 years old) then released him after questioning.

1. On August 22nd 2016, Israeli forces detained Khaled Omar Eiwisat {A resident of Jabal Al-Mukabir
neighborhood in Jerusalem city} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning based on a prior summon.
2.On August 23rd 2016, Israeli forces detained Khaled Mohammad Ali Khamis {A resident of Dar Salah village in Bethlehem}
in Jerusalem city for allegedly entering the city without a valid permit.
3. On August 23rd 2016, Israeli forces detained Abed Dauod Issa Dirbas {A resident of Al-Issawiya town}.
4. At 18:00, Israeli forces detained the child Omar Ja'far Mustafa Salem Hamad (17 years old) { A resident of Qalandiya camp} as he was reporting to Israeli Intelligence for questioning.
5. Israeli force detained Mohammad Abdel-Rauf Mahmoud in Al-Eisawiya village.
6. Israeli forces detained Mu'taz Badr in Abu Dis town.

1.On August 23rd 2016, Israeli courts sentenced 2 residents: Shadi Ibrahim Sarour and Mounthir Tariq Sarour
{Both residents of Jabal Al-Mukabir neighborhood in Jerusalem city} to home imprisonment for a period of 10 days and imposed a financial penalty amounting to 2500 NIS.
2. On August 23rd 2016, Israeli courts sentenced Sufiyan Fakhri Obada
{A resident of Jerusalem city} to 14 days home imprisonment and imposed a financial penalty of 1000 NIS
3. At 22:55, Israeli forces temporarily detained the child Yusef Bassam Kamal Subieh (14 years old) then released him at a later time.

At 22:55, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Hizma town.

At 00:30, Israeli forces positioned at Hizma checkpoint confiscated a Identification Card and a Cellular telephone owned by 2 residents of Nihalin village in
Bethlehem district: Mohammad Ibrahim Shakarna and Mohammad Musa Shakarna

3. At 05:20, Israeli forces raided Al-Jalazoun camp and stormed a home.

1. At 04:45 on August 23rd 2016, Israeli forces detained 2 residents: Bassam Subhi Dar Sa'ed and
Mustafa Ahmad Aliyan during their raid into Al-Mazra'a Al-Gharbiya town. {As mentioned in the previous report}.
2. At 18:45, Israeli forces detained Aqab Mohammad Ali Al-Kahla near Ramon village.
3. Israeli forces detained Husam Murad Mohammad Harmoush in Khirbithat Al-Misbah village.

At 20:300, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed 2 homes during their raid into Budrus village..

1. At 10:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near the entrance of "Haramish" settlement then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 19:00, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Arabba town junction then searched residents and vehicles
3. At 19:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at Ya'bad town junction and detained a resident.

2. At dawn on August 24th 2016, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and its camps, clashed with
several residents as they stormed and searched several homes in the camp and as a result injured a resident.

Israeli forces detained Anas Abdel-Qadder Abdel-Lareem Barham in Kafr Qaddum village.

1. At 08:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town, prevented vehicles from entering or exiting the area until 12:30 and again set up the checkpoint at 21:00 then searched residents and vehicles until 22:30,
2. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint along the main road in Huwara town then searched residents and vehicles until 23:20.
3. At 20:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Shave Shamron" settlement junction then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

2. At 21:05, Israeli forces raided Osarin village.

At 14:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas canisters towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Beit Furiq town.

At 18:05, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 18:30.

2. At 20:55,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near "Kafr Itsiyon" settlement junction, prevented vehicles from passing through the main road connecting Bethlehem and Hebron from both directions until 22:40.
3. At 20:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beit Fajjar town then searched residents and vehicles until 22:40.

1. At 02:00, Israeli forces raided Beit Fajjar town, detained a resident then withdrew at 04:00.
2. At 02:40, Israeli forces raided Ayda camp in Bethlehem city, detained a child then withdrew at 06:10.

At 11:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area {located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem city} then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 15:00, Israeli forces raided Surif town and detained a resident.
2. At 04:00, Israeli forces raided Halhul town and detained 3 residents.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) crossing is partially open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination.
