WEST BANK

JERUSALEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 20:30,Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Silwan neighborhood in Jerusalem then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At 17:45, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya and Abu Dis towns until 20:40.
2. At 01:15, Israeli forces raided Al-Eizariya town until 05:00.
3. At 03:00, Israeli forces raided Al-Ram town, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 05:00.

Attack

At 03:00, Israeli forces fired rubber coated steel bullets, stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Al-Ram town.

Obstruction of Places of Worship

At 09:00, a group of Israeli settlers under the protection off Israeli Military and Police forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque compound in the old city of Jerusalem and provoked worshipers.

RAMALLAH & AL BIREH

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 16:30, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Atarah town bridge then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 01:50, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Surda village junction then searched residents and vehicles until 03:00.
3. At 02:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Deir Dibwan town and Beitin village then searched residents and vehicles until 05:00.

JENIN

Raid

At 00:45, Israeli forces raided Jaba' town, clashed with several residents as they stormed and searched 7 homes and detained a resident.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Ahmad Fawzi Abu O'wn in Jaba' town.

Attack

At 00:45, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning as they stormed and searched 7 homes during their raid into Jaba'.

At 22:15, Israeli forces raided Tayassir village, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 01:50.

NABLUS

At 21:40, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Beita town then searched residents and vehicles.

1. At 14:50, Israeli forces raided Awarta village.
2. At 17:55, Israeli forces raided Huwara town then stormed and searched a home.
3. At 18:05, Israeli forces raided Iraq Burin village, clashed with several residents then withdrew at 01:20.
4. At 02:10, Israeli forces raided Nablus city until 05:50.

Attack

At 18:05, Israeli forces fired stun and tear gas grenades towards several residents for alleged stoning during their raid into Iraq Burin town.

Destruction of Property

On the morning of August 17th 2016, Israeli forces stormed Qusra village and demolished a Agricultural Den owned by Sameer Hassan and demolished the surrounding concrete wall.

Temporary Detention

At 17:50, Israeli forces positioned at Beit Furik checkpoint temporarily detained 2 residents:
Mujahid Salah Tantawi and Omar Yusef Fakhri Mahfouth then released then at a later time.

1. At 08:20, , Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Kafr Al-Dik then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.
2. At 08:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Deir Ballout town then searched residents and vehicles until 12:00.

At 19:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the south entrance of Jericho city then searched residents and vehicles until 21:30.

BETHLEHEM

Flying Checkpoints

At 23:20, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint near Caritas Hospital in Bethlehem city then searched residents and vehicles until 24:00.

Raid

At 23:20, Israeli forces raided Bethlehem, set up a checkpoint near Caritas Hospital then withdrew at 24:00.

Land Levelling

On August 17th 2016, Israeli military bulldozers leveled a plot of land near the west entrance of Teqou' town.

HEBRON

Flying Checkpoints

1. At 09:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Fuwar camp then searched residents and vehicles.
2. At 18:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Tarma village then searched residents and vehicles.
3. At 20:15, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Arub camp then searched residents and vehicle.
4. At 23:25, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in Khilat Kahdour area in Hebron city then searched residents and vehicles.
5. At 23:55, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint at the entrance of Al-Nabi Yunis area located along the main road connecting Hebron and Bethlehem then searched residents and vehicles.
6. At 00:10, Israeli forces set up a checkpoint in the area between Al-Shiyoukh town and Kuziba village then searched residents and vehicles.

Raid

1. At dawn on August 17th 2016, Israeli forces raided Deir Samit village and detained 2 residents.
2. At 09:55, Israeli forces raided Beit Ummar town and stormed a home.
3. At 00:55, Israeli forces raided Bani Na'im town, stormed and searched a home then withdrew at 04:45.

Detention

Israeli forces detained Adam Odah Al-Haroub and Mohammad Muslih Al-Haroub in Deir Sammit village.

Destruction of Property

At 09:15, Israeli forces stormed Khirba area in Beit Ulla town and
leveled a plot of agricultural land {Approximately 15 dunumes}
and as a result up rooted 150 fruit bearing trees owned by Mohammad Khalil Abdel-Azziz Al-Alama.

GAZA STRIP

ALL DISTRICTS

• Since 19:00 on August 26th 2014, Palestinian Gunmen and the Israeli military agreed to a cease fire agreement (brokered by the Arab Republic of Egypt) which includes the opening of border crossings to allow the entry of emergency supplies and humanitarian goods as well as construction material and agreed to increase the fishing limit to 6 nautical miles with possibility of increase to 12 nautical miles by the end of the year and to decrease the Military area to 100 meters, allow freedom of movement and a halt to targeted killings
and assassinations and negotiations will be held for discussion on rebuilding the sea port and airports in the coming month.

* Beit Hanun (Erez) is open for the passage of critical patients, journalists, NGO staff, businesspersons and passengers travelling abroad through Al-Karama crossing with previous coordination

Closure of Crossing Points

* Al-Muntar (Karni) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 02 March 2011, the Crossing has been effectively closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.
* Al-Shija’iya (Nahal ‘Oz) Crossing is closed. Beginning on 04 January 2010, the Crossing has closed following a unilateral Israeli decision.

RAFAH

Closure of Crossing Points

* Yasser ‘Arafat International Airport remains closed.
* Rafah (Al ‘Awdah) Crossing is closed
* Sufa Crossing is closed
* Karm Abu Salem (Karem Shalom) Crossing is open for the entry Humanitarian assistance.
