Dr. Erekat on Attacks against Gaza: “Israel is fully responsible for any harm to our people in Gaza”

Chief Palestinian Negotiator, Dr. Saeb Erekat, called upon Israel not to escalate its attacks against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. “Due to their illegal blockade, Israel remains the occupying power in Gaza. Therefore we hold Israel fully responsible for any harm to our people there.”

Dr. Erekat called upon the international community to assume its responsibilities and to prevent the loss of any human life: “The international community has the responsibility to prevent a new massacre against our people.”

Dr. Saeb Erekat asked to maximize efforts to prevent a escalation that will severely affect the lives of the Palestinian people in Gaza.
